RE #42. Your logo has a very sharp, professional look. I'm not too taken with the symbol to the left of the logo. Can you come up with something else? Also, I like the font you've chosen for the text of the logo. However, the 'Buy' text needs a thicker font, or something.
I'll let you know this. The symbol I currently like the most of all the entries so far is the one on #16 -- which is currently ranked two. The rankings can change at any time, though.
The four new ones look very nice, but I don't think we're moving any closer to clinching the right symbol, and overall logo. I think I'd like to go back to your #42, and maybe have you create some variations along those lines. BTW, perhaps blacken the 'Buy' portion of text. Grey isn't showing up as well as I'd like. I do love your leaf symbol here...but it took me awhile to figure it out the first time I looked at it. What else could you do here? Doesn't have to necessarily be a variation of the leaf. But that does look very cool, and very chic, nevertheless.
I also updated the contest brief to make some important clarifications. Please feel free to read it. I look forward to seeing what else you come up with! I really like your work. Thanks so much! -Brian
I was just about to contact you before the new uploads came through. Unfortunately, the leaf is not working as a symbol for me...I also would like to steer clear of the traditional recycling arrows. I like the font/text in #199 and the darker shading in the green for #200. I actually liked the effect coming off the 'T' that you originally had.
BTW, I looked all day and *finally* found what would be the perfect symbol for my logo! The concept is a button with a Refresh symbol in the center. That button beautifully captures what TechReBuy is all about. You can see a representation of this button here on http://i.istockimg.com/file_thumbview_approve/20432194/2/stock-illustration-20432194-rotate-high-detailed-web-button-collection.jpg The large one, or the one at the bottom-left corner. Would you try to mock-up something similar to these and then use that as the new symbol? Please let me know. Thanks! -Brian
