Hi Alf=red,

#67 and #54 are probably the best, IMO. I do like the creativity of #65, but don't think it will work for me.

I'd like to move away from the Recycle concept for the symbol. At this stage, I'm looking for a Reload or a combination of a Reload/Power Button as the symbol to the left or right of the logo text. If you use Firefox, and bring up a page in that particular browser, you'll be able to see the little Reload button in action -- that's sort of a nice representation of what I would like as a potential symbol. Unless you present something else that you think would be way cooler!

However, the logo I've currently ranked as #2 in the contest, is the best logo in my opinion (minus the symbol creative). It's professional, crisp, and has a nice effect coming off the 'T' portion of the text.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,
Brian

Thank you for giving feedback Brian.

How about combine the reload and power button as one symbol?

The effect on #105 is inspired from Mac G5 power button.

Hi Alfred,

I noticed you withdrew #105 -- can't recall it. Would have been interested to see it from your description in the comments above.

You've come up with a wide variety of creatives. Anyway, your symbol in #111 probably is the best of the lot so far. I would like to see maybe a few more variations. Maybe to the text too.

Thanks,
Brian

Entry #141 is using a white color iphone / ipad, well known color for apple products.

Hey Alfred...just checking in before I retire for the night. I don't see #143...seems to have been withdrawn.

#143 is the same as #144. Sorry for confusion.

I'm liking your creative submissions in this contest! I like the text/font in #152 and #144 (the left wing of the 't' needs to be present though). Are there any more symbol ideas you have? Also, do you have any further conceptual ideas on the text portion of the logo that you can create?

Thank you! -Brian

Hi Alfred,

I like the text and font in logo #152. However, I like the symbols in 142, 144....and even 141. Could you combine the symbol from 142 with the text of 152?

So...142 symbol and text in 152
144 symbol and text in 152
141 (would you change the white iPod to black?) and then combine with text in 152

Any other symbol concepts you can come up with would be awesome! :)

Hi Brian,

The revised logos are #193, #194 and #195.

I will try to propose other symbol design.

Thanks,

Hi Alfred,

I like the text/font of #193. I like your symbols, but am still looking for *the* one. Actually, I'm not impressed with any of the other designers symbols just yet. :(

Anyway, I looked around all day and finally found what would be the perfect symbol for my logo! The concept is a button with a Refresh symbol in the center. That button beautifully captures what TechReBuy is all about. You can see a representation of this button here on http://i.istockimg.com/file_thumbview_approve/20432194/2/stock-illustration-20432194-rotate-high-detailed-web-button-collection.jpg The large one, or the one at the bottom-left corner. Would you try to mock-up something similar to these and then use that as the new symbol? Please let me know. Thanks! -Brian

More variations can be found here: http://i.istockimg.com/file_thumbview_approve/20432194/2/stock-illustration-20432194-rotate-high-detailed-web-button-collection.jpg

Hi Brian, thanks again for all the feedback.

As designer, I can not copy exactly the same symbol / logo from the web.
I can only design it like my entry #211.

Not sure whether the design will be rejected, due to very similar concept.

Hi Alfred,

The Refresh arrow is a universal symbol, so I don't see why you would be rejected. I'm liking the direction of #211, but I need it to look more like a button. The idea is that people seeing the logo or sign with actually think of pushing it -- ties in perfectly with what our company does. Please keep this variation, however can you make it look more like a button? Thanks.

How about #212?

Can we try it in green? Can we try the full Refresh arrow too? I might go with the two, I would just like to see the full refresh too. Also...you may not like hearing this :) but your orb idea in #211 is kinda growing on me. Would you make those arrows green (and do the same things with a full refresh arrow?).

Brian, the contest has ended, only 1st ranked designer will be able to submit entries.
Possible for you to rank either one of my entry as 1st, I got some full refresh arrow to show you.

Thanks,
Alfred
