I like the idea on #12 and #17 if you can extend the right edge of that green light out a bit and continue to make it look like a price chart. Also, try to integrate other grain markets if possible (soybeans and wheat for example).
For #31, try to incorporate the yellow bars and make them look more like a candlestick chart. You can fade that into the background of the "Technical Ag Knowledge" name as well. We don't need the "Acknowledging the Technicals" text at the bottom.
One other idea for #11, could you move 'technical' over to the right and increase the size of Ag? It looks like this might allow you to use the checkmark to be part of the A and could also offer a way to make the checkmark/A look more like a chart.?
Hi, Thank you for the feedback :) Here are entries #47, #48, #49, #50 #51 - variations for entries 12, 17 Entries #52, #53, #54 with candlestick charts Entries #56, #57 - With the check mark as part of the A Please let me know if there is anything else you'd like to see Thanks!
I am liking #57, but would like to increase the font size for "Technical" and "Knowledge so that the eye read "Technical" first. That might mean we have to move it up higher. I like how the "Ag" word incorporates the chart feel to it. Can you please try to incorporate a different image for the corn cob? Perhaps something a little more like #14
Sorry to go back and forth. I'd like to see th multi colored candlesticks (similar to #53) incorporated onto template #56.(in place of the corn image).
Good job on #68. Let's see if we can incorporate a little more on the graphic side. Maybe a few more of those candleticks and/or a sun image in the background? I'd like to blend the technical feel that we have here with a rural/farming feel. Maybe that will prove to be too much in a small space but I'm curious to see what you can do.
Thank you. I'd like to see if you can create a hybrid of #52, #30, and/or #27. I like the big, bold "Ag" lettering. I also like the candlestick effect and the field/sky effect. Trying to just tie it all together. I think we are close!
Just a wild shot, but can we see #79 with the "Ag" lettering in a bold yellow? Maybe one submission could have the curved lines inside the "A" all green?
We like the field, sky, and candlesticks in #81 and we also like the focus on "Ag" in #91 and #87. Can you please try to blend these elements together? I would also like to see if you can pronounce "Ag'in #86 more along the lines of #91 and #87
Hi, Here are entries #94, #95, #96, #97 combining the field, sky and candlesticks. Entries #98, #99, #100 - variations for #86 with pronounced "Ag" If you want any other combinations/adjustments let me know Thanks!
We are very close with #95. I’d like to see the middle part of the “A” in “Ag” a little more connected with the curved/dark green. Maybe lose the “check” mark feel and just make it a clear "A", and possibly add another candlestick.
I am about ready to close the competition and go with #103. There was one other item I needed to ask you about, once we select the winner can you also provide a version that works on a dark background (black)? Either by adjusting the color scheme slightly or by keeping the white background as a highlight around the logo with the rest of the image black?
Actually, if you look at www.danielstrading.com and use the dark blue header or slightly lighter blue navigation at the top of the website that is closer to the color we may need to post the logo on. Or possibly the lighter blue right below it. Thank you very much.
Oh, great! Thanks! Of course I will provide you with any other color versions or formats you need. When the contest is over a vector EPS and Jpeg of the winning entry will be uploaded through the Logotournament system. The vector EPS can be edited with the right software (change color, use each element separately, etc...) and printed at any size without loosing quality. After you review and approve them, I can send the other files directly to your mail :) I’ve uploaded entries #104, #105, #106 for you to see what it will look on different backgrounds (sampled from the link you send me). If there is anything else you need let me know Thanks!
