Welcome! I guess I'll get this thing started for you.

#1 | This concept shows a team forming a bar graph with arrows to emphasize growth.
#2 | A team of puzzle pieces working together.

Feedback is welcome and encouraged. Simply click on a design to offer feedback about it.

I showed this to one of my friends... he convinced me to raise it higher... I think the only thing I am not hot on is the choice of colors. Any ability to change that any? If you drop by www.teameliteadvantage.com you might get an idea about colors I use on the site already.

Todd - I used a color picker tool to pull the actual blue and green from your site into the logo. I added a rust color as well on a few. I used the dark backdrop from your header to show what the logo would look like if placed there. This is a good representation of what it might look like on the site.

I think my earlier colors did not show the professionalism of the site. Now I think the logos look professional, but still shy away from being to stuffy.

Nice thing is they reverse out easily to a white backdrop for printing. Also the logo is simple enough that nothing is lost in black and white. These are overlooked but VERY important elements of a versatile corporate I.D.

Keep the feedback coming, It helps a GREAT deal.

I like this .... the problem is the choice of blue just does not show up at all against the black. I have a hard time seeing it.

I think the submission #30 might be one of the best. I like #31... but again, just hard to see anything.

#59 | #60 - made a change from the "hill" to a silver ring that unites the group. I think this is a cleaner layout.

I also like #52 and #31... but they are so hard to read... I think the fonts need to be increased or something. Dont know

Todd - A designer has questioned my use of the arrows dividing the people in the logo you previously ranked No. 1 - I had previously done a similar concept for an accounting firm a while back, The design is completely unique and while using a similar thought process was created exclusively for you. The Admin have pulled the entries for review. In the meantime here is a submission without the arrows, that still conveys the same basic message. | #63

To lessen any confusion on your part, I have pulled all of the remaining logos with that concept until Admin lets me know what to do.

To clarify. I previously used the concept of a bar graph formed by people with arrows. For an accountant in Australia. I completely redid that thought into a logo that fits your need. Concepts are reworked all the time. My portfolio is public and can be seen by any contest holder. (Simply click on my name by the avatar to the left.)

If you feel this to be to close to a previous design, than I will gladly withdraw the entries in question without even waiting for Admins response.

So that's where the issue is. A designer has made an issue of the fact that I used the same concept twice. Though yours is completely original artwork and the people, shape, and ring are completely different.

So we wait.

Todd - After conferring with Admin, and our design community they have decided that my entry was to close to my earlier winning design, though I disagree on the semantics, geography and field of work involved, I also understand their reasoning. I accept the decision made by them. They do a great job of protecting customers from any legal issues regarding copyright etc.

I should have done more to change the concept it appears, and I apologize for the harm it may have done.
I have left my additional entries for review, but accept and understand Admins position as well.

Best regards,
Paul

In your brief you asked about additional work after the contest. I can't speak for everyone...but most of us are professional designers that can do a multiplicity of additional work. You just have to work the pricing out with whomever you choose.

Well.. you are looking good. I have a survey going on and am having people vote on 6 finalists... and I think 5 are yours.

How does this work? When I declare a winner (which I am betting is you) how and what do I receive? I am actually thinking that I will need it on black and on white... and probably a transparent background.. and maybe the art separated from the words.

I also am wondering what flash ability you have if any. If I end up choosing the puzzle people, I am thinking it might be cool to have a flash version of the people flying in and making the completed puzzle... or something. Do you do flash? You a flash programmer?

Todd- Not a Flash programmer, but the vector file is separated into pieces and layers that a flash animator can move however needed. That's whats so great about the vector files we use here. Its already an adobe file.

I dont charge for basic variances as mentioned above. The backgrounds and the separation are complimentary. They just have to be done post contest through email. (Logo Tournament only allows the transfer of the winning file in their system.)

So when you declare a winner. I upload the final chosen file. You need to accept it to close the contest. You then get the copyright to that file. Generally I just send the other requested formats (Black, White etc...) to you within 24 hours of that.

Keep me posted.
