I like the format of #2 better than #1. I'd like to see some more things like #2, perhaps with a sans serif font for "Tate Actuarial", and perhaps with some variations of color, even if it is just shading. Thanks.
I think you were right with your first design (#2) - the serif fonts look better with the "Tate". I do like the general color scheme of #13 better than #2 also. Maybe combine the format of #13 with fonts more like #2. Maybe an abstract logo more like a "delta" for change?
On #13, it is possible that a sans serif font would still be best, but one that is more straightforward, and less stylized than the one you have in #13 and #11. The funky looking E is bothering me a little.
Something about #61 is really interesting. Maybe some slightly different colors would move it up. And I'm not sure what is going on with the slash thru the I in Actuarial. Sometimes I like it and other times I look at it and think it is a mistake.
