TAOGPLogo Design Contest

Looking for the logo to be BOLD, SIMPLE, and READABLE at a glance. There does NOT need to be a wave form. Thanks for submitting your designs!

If anyone wants to recreate the exact design I created in the .pdf file, which I like, the font is Optima on top and Times New Roman on the bottom.

Please take current rankings with a grain of salt. Up to a point, it's hard to rank so many designs that are very similar to one another. Those that are unranked are still being considered, I just didn't know where to place them. I've eliminated from consideration any designs that include the waveform, since I feel that it overcomplicates the design. I want SIMPLICITY. But I also want it to be a little bit FUN. I also want to avoid the logo coming across as too Taoist. Although "TAO" is in there, this is part coincidence (i.e. "The Art Of") and part serendipity (there is a taoist element to the philosophy). I just want the reference to be more subtle than overt. Thanks for the amazing submissions!

I do like how some designers have found ways to incorporate a translation of what TAOGP means. Although space is limited, I could definitely see how this would be helpful!

Just added a pdf of an "enso" for references purposes. This might be used to replace the O. Something to experiment with...
