I like this idea. Try developing it a bit more - see where it goes. I'm not sure what it is about the logo - but it's leaving me wanting something difference, but around the same concept. Great start!

#146 is coming along nice. i think that including neck ties could possibly alienate small businesses and women. Can you rework it without the ties?

#216 The color & gradient helped a lot! I think the font in your other designs is stronger. You might replicate this design using the other font.

SO much better.

Thanks for the feedback! It's much appreciated. I'm glad you like my designs. I'd be happy to make any further versions.

Try working the text of #242 in the same fashion as #261 - but keep your color schemes the same. Also, Show me what this design would look like in flat colors on a dark grey background. Do the font white and leave the speech bubbles in color.

Welcome to the top 5! After reviewing all of the entries & consulting with our team - we have come to an agreement that the logo should highlight the word INSIGHTS. That's really what we are about; looking inside of people to see what drives them and makes them unique. I want to share a document with you all that will help you grasp an understanding of what we do. Follow this link to a copy of one of our future landing pages on our sight. I think it will help you better understand what we do - and in turn - help you create a stronger logo. Good luck to you all! https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1TmQ5B5FadHMGk1Mk1NNUx3a0E/view?usp=sharing

#303 is probably as good as it will get. You might exhaust your efforts on a new design. I really like the style you used on the Kupple Too Film Logo that has the film role above the name. I'm not saying copy that - I'm just saying that I like the simplicity of the approach.

I'll see what I can do. I'm always up for trying new ideas.

I like the text #319. I aslo like the idea of the speech bubbles - however - Talent Insights is about looking into a person. The communication we provide to individuals is a byproduct of the assessment. The focus of what we do is looking into a person and evaluating their wiring. We have a saying: "There's no good or bad wiring - just a good or bad fit." Everyone is unique - and the personality you were born with is who you are...but you have to find out where your personality is going to succeed or fail. That's where we come in. We can help you find the right career based on your personality. We also help students declare majors. So - long story short - try thinking through the perspective of "Seeing into someone". Utilize that concept for a logo/icon. See what you come up with.

I like the idea of this, but I'm not fond of the bulky look it has. Also, not sure if you intended this or not, but the other half of the light bulb looks like a question mark. This could convey "You've got questions, we've got answers" - but it also unconsciously communicates weakness in our company - like we're uncertain about ourselves. Maybe try to slim the logo lines a bit and then try making it look more like a magnifying glass. I would also tilt it a bit and possibly lose the animation marks. A good way to represent a light bulb without those marks is to create a filament inside the bulb.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I was going for "You've got questions, we've got answers" but did not realize the negative message.

Still has a very chunky feel to it. Not sure this idea is worth pursuing. I'm a graphic artist myself - so I really want to help you make good use of your time. I really feel like you have some great ideas and I'd like to see you take the lead. Maybe try something different. "Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time." - Thomas Edison

#344 is headed in the right direction! Play around with the idea of mapping people. Our assessments are called I-Maps - as in "Individual Maps". I'll rank you first so that you can keep submitting. Great job! Keep going!

Good morning Kowen! #354 is by far my favorite. I really think we're getting somewhere with that logo! The idea of placing the person in the map icon is a great idea! I really like that! Let's focus on this idea and see what different variations come from it. Feel free to be creative with color choices as well. Thanks for your hard work!

Thanks! Are there any specific colors you would like to see? Do you still want to stick to the colors looking more muted and grey?

I like the logo simplified the way you originally had it. Try doing your reflection effect on the logo, but leaving the text flat color. Use a thin line font on TALENT and a bold font on INSIGHTS. See where that takes us. Maybe even introduce black into the font. I like the yellow/gold on the logo the best.

Client
I like the font without tails better, too. Try the layout all on one line and see what it looks like. In other words, not a stacked logo - all linear from left to right.

Client
#368 is great! Please tweak the following: Change orange gradient on the map icon to more of a gold yellow/yellow gradient (less red/orange) - Change black gradient on map icon to a silver gradient - make "TALENT" grey to match silver gradient. I really think we are getting there! Great job!

Client
Also, show me a variation where the map icon is over the "I" in INSIGHTS - almost like a dot on the "I". Don't make the "I" lowercase, just dot the capital. Thanks!

Client
Perhaps we should make INSIGHTS grey to match the silver gradient on the map. That way the focus stays on INSIGHTS.

#374 looks really good. Let's play with this version for a while. I like the size of the icon in comparison to the words. Play around with a few colors & font options. We are really close with what you have, but not quite there yet. Stick close to this version in form of structure - but expand color ranges, fonts, contrasts, etc. Does that make sense?

Client
Also, create a linear version with the logo in front of the text like before, but with the logo this size in comparison to the font.

Is there a specific color combo and/or font style you are thinking of that will fit in well with your company's message and website design? It sounds like you have an image in your head but still want to see options, but I'd rather create exactly what you are looking for than keep spinning our wheels.

Did you like any of the color combinations that I presented in #360, #361, or #362?

I really like the purple. I've been trying to keep vague in my direction because I'm wanting to see what comes from your creativity. Like I said, I'm a graphic designer myself. I could tell you a lot of different things and give specific direction, but that would end in a logo from my mind - not yours. I'm doing this contest to see our company from a different perspective. Does that make sense? You're doing a great job. I just want as many of your thoughts on the logo as possible so that we know we've taken it as far as possible. Sometimes you can hit a logo on the head the first run...but most of the time, you find greatness by going through several revisions. Keep at it. I'm going to place Scott in the #1 slot for a few hours to allow him a few submissions. Direct message me when you have a few color revisions. I'm also asking for a lot of variety because we have a panel of about 10 people that are deciding on the logo on day 7. I want you to have as many options as you can so that you can take the prize. I still think you're right on track and I'd like to see you win.

Not sure if you've had any other ideas or not - but let's do this. Rework #368 & #379 with the following colors (your choice of utilization - one color, or multiple: Blue: HEX# 61AEC5 - Green: HEX# A1C750 - Yellow: HEX# FFCE03 - Purple: HEX# 904577 - Grey: 40% - Black: HEX#000000

Congrats, Kowen! #408 won the contest :) Thanks for all of your hard work. Question - are you the same designer from kowendesign.com?

Logo Designer
Thank you! It was a lot of fun! No, I was not aware that there was a web address with that name. But my email address is kowendesigns@gmail.com. What a coincidence. I will have to look them up. By the way, I uploaded the final files. Please take a look at them; you will have to approve them. If for any reason I need to make changes and reupload them, let me know. Thanks again!

Everything looks great to me! I just approved the files. Yeah - the site belongs to a lady named Kristi Owen. She's a graphic designer out of NY. I wasn't sure if that was you or not. Is your last name Kowen or did you do like her and mash your name together to create that name? I thought it was a pretty crazy coincidence! Haha.

Logo Designer
Yes, it's a mash up of my name - Kimberly Owen. I will have to contact her to see if we might be related. Wouldn't that be crazy. I'm glad the files worked out for you! Thanks again for the opportunity, it was fun! Enjoy your new company logo!
