Instead of the butterscotch and blue shapes revolving around a center point, I think if you could just space them along, horizontally, you'd be better communicating "transfer die" testing in a virtual software solution.
Your use of repetition is good, and interesting, but done circularly, isn't right for this client. (we are their ad agency)

Quick work. Maybe go more in the direction of your Inntec, pro:up, or FocalPoint solutions. This one is a little simple. Keep in mind that our client might end up using this on software packaging. It needs to be fairly high-end design.
