I would have to say that #189, 187, and 188 are probably not industrial enough. They look more like fashion, trendy small appliance, or interior design.
Hello makinson,
Your logo, #89 is one of our top 3 choices for the "finalist" phase. My client would like to see the exact same design with some different choices of colors for the squares. Don't change the gradation on the "T-SIM", or the drop shadow, we like those. Also, we will need to see the design on a black background as well.
Thanks!
Our client likes this design as his 3rd choice so far! If you have any tweaks on this design, now would be the time. Tomorrow is the end of the "Open Phase". Great Job!
Even though the "transfer die" process doesn't have any radial motion, I love the energy of this one. It might be my favorite so far. It fixed the "too tight M" problem too.
This is nice too.
One tip... kerning. Your "-" between the "T" and "S" looks far away from the "T" and close to the "S" because of the negative space of the "T". Same with the shapes above. The blue circle and green shape look further apart than the other shapes. You need to adjust them so they appear to have the same amount of white space between. I do this by looking at 3 at a time. Do the first 3 shapes look like the are equally spaced? Then I look at the yellow and green and blue to see if those 3 look equally spaced. I'm the creative director at T-Sim's ad agency, but I've been a designer for 35 years. It's things like this that make you a seasoned veteran.
Awesome. Only critique would be the grey might be a titch too light, a darker grey, or even black? And, the "M" is the only letter that touches the edge of its shape. It almost makes it read as "T-SI M". It definitely makes the "TSI" seem to be its own thing.
I love your use of color. I like the contrast of the big shapes and letters to the smaller, kerned out "S O L U T I O N S".
Maybe something like your Echo WireForm logo. I like how repeated squares could represent "transfer dies" - a piece of metal getting stamped, then moved to the next die and stamped, over a few times until it is in its final shape.
Maybe the first shape is square, then gradually changes to the final shape. (a circle? or triangle?) And keep in mind that it is a "virtual" computer simulation to fix problems.
Nice logo, great color, wrong message. T-Sim Solutions is a software company that can test "transfer dies" virtually, with a computer animation before any parts are ever stamped. If you could do something with more horizontal energy (for the way parts move from die to die) and some up-and-down energy (for the actual stamping by the dies), and maybe combine with a computer-y feeling.
Right now you just have a very pleasing logo that looks techy, but that's it. The T-Sim Solutions software doesn't have anything to do with a "sphere" shape.
