I'm looking for a clean designed logo that can be scaled down and read on a pen. Something "cool" enough to be worn on a hat, shirt, etc. My company in currently in Hollywood and we plan to provide services across the globe. Coordinating photo equipment where ever you need it.

A "surf" vibe is where we've come from <www.laphotogroup.com> (wave and lens circle). It'd be nice to transition the old into something new.

Does anyone mind looking at my old logo and modifying it? Say - Take out the word LA and putting in the word "Sync". Updated FONT - OK! The thick black circle can altered (by thinning it or something else - oval). Taking out the words Photo Group and putting in "Production" or "Rental" or just work on the Pictoral Mark. And then do variations on it. Maybe keeping the blue wave - or not.

Nice work we're seeing!

Maybe we put too much focus on modifying the old logo...pardon the distraction. More to the point, we're a southern CA company and are looking for a more laid back, surf-ish (in reference, not literal) vibe as opposed to a formal, corporate vibe.

We're partial to #s 1-4, and would love to see similar with some modifications that make them a bit more as described above. As general comments:

- Please leave the tag line out of the logo
- Colors are certainly in the ballpark, but could be slightly more fun/less serious (reference the pallet for the current ipod nano line)
- No hard edges or corners, please, and circles/ovals are preferred over rectangles
- Ditto the font - no hard edges or corners, please
- Highlights should be less severe/noticeable (to lessen reproduction issues)
- Laid back, not stuffy or too serious, and hip/trendy is the ultimate goal

I would say #108 is awfully close to my idea for #75. Anyone agree?

CH likes logos from 95' - LOL

I'd like to see a combination of 186 & 165. Blue semi-circle, no oval, black font. No circle on the "C".

CH, was that comment for me and the other designer or for everyone? Because I don't think it's wise to tell everyone to take elements from other designers.
