I posted comments on the designs submitted so far. There are some interesting elements, but nothing that I can say is absolutley the right direction. I'm looking forward to seeing more creative designs.

the artwork in entry 21 is more the vector style that we are looking for. we don't like the reflection shadow underneath though.

The top four entries are really in consideration at this point. We would like to see some other concepts that also use vector style flat artwork around the idea of a snyapse. The top eight concepts are still in consideration. Of those, the best fonts are in entry 53 and entry 75. All eight have strengths and weaknesses, but we are still interested in new ideas as well as modifications of these ideas.

I had a brainstorm this morning. I did a mockup but maybe someone can take this idea and design some real artwork with it. How about if the artwork shows bits of information flowing back and forth between two entities. Here is the test mockup I made: http://synaptiqlife.com/test2.jpg
