What We Do
Synapps is a micro-blog service inside the company similar to Twitter.
I used neurons as an example to symbolize employees that openly share internal information.
I also wanted to emphasize the fact that neurons send each other information.

Color Preferences
The lesser the colors, the better.
Please use 2 - 3 colors including the color of the base.
Please DON'T use 3D shadows.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I would like the "p"'s to look like they are connected by electricity.
/
The logo can include or not include the elements of Web 2.0.
If it is used, please don't make it strong.
/
I would like the logo to be Wordmark based.
It can also have a separated icon on the side.
I don't have a strong request of a icon but if it looks cool, then I will decide then.
/
I am aiming for a more serious atmosphere than Twitter
since we will be promoting it to companies. But not extremely serious.
/
I want the logo to be completely different from Twitter.
Therefore, please don't consider the Twitter logo as an example.
( I think Japanese people are not fond of the Twitter logo. )
/
I uploaded an EPS file of a font that I favor.
You can process the EPS file if you like, but you may create a completely different one.

For your information, we are creating Synapps web-design with this icon set:

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:
