Our Ideas & Additional Information
We are professional world-ranked West Coast Swing dancers, and one of our products is a teacher training program, the Swing Literacy Development Program (SLDM). Here is our website that explains its uniqueness in the marketplace: www.swingliteracy.com. The logo will be used on various materials, but I'm using a T-shirt to brainstorm concepts.
I like the idea of having a trendy caption on the front of the T-shirt, something inspiring and empowering and not common. "Game-Changer" seemed to stand out, which calls to mind symbols of games, but I'm not sold on this image concept. We are changing the game of how the dance is taught, but there is no playfulness or sport-like competition involved in this process.

TEACHER TRAINING MAKES THE DIFFERENCE
The image on the website of the maze is a powerful one for us. There are a lot of incompetent teachers out there because there is no organized teaching system. We are the first. We have a reputation of showing how to make this very technical dance simple and accessible where other teachers either teach incorrectly, give up, or make it seem overly complicated.
The slingshot symbol represents the mechanic of our dance, and is a signature element in our method. The foundation building blocks represents building skills properly to develop stable, competent dancers that can reach higher. I'm like to see if one of these images can be incorporated into the logo.
While we casually refer to the program by its initials, the general public needs to see the whole words spelled out. It's ok to make Swing Literacy more dominant than Development Method if necessary.
Just to be clear, I'm looking to create a logo for multipurpose use. I was just using the t-shirt to aid my brainstorming for the logo.
I have attached our personal brand logo which is used on our website, watermarks, and promo materials. The SLDM logo does not necessarily have to match or coordinate.
