Thanks for the submission. We really like this design. Only suggestion was to try some different color combinations. But the blue + gold are working well here with the water/sun theme. Very nice.
Another suggestion was that the font selection is too 'crisp' and does not completely fit with the 'rawness' logo designed. We want to keep it simple and friendly, but perhaps a slightly different, a bit more edgy font would improve it? For example, we like the font selection in #60 better than #191
re: #219 #220 Like the treatment in #219 more than #220 Like the deeper aqua more than the royal-blue. Also like gradient treatment (but its nice the logo works 'flat' too). Adding the 'wave' to the words SwimTopia in #219 may be a step beyond though. Can we see it with the gradient but without the wave?
What do you think about a very slightly different typeface? The font bothers us less in #219 and it did in #191 (and even there it was a minor quibble). Would like to hear your opinion.
One more bit of feedback -- there was some concern raise that the Sun looks slightly "squished" or oblong in the current rendering( #219 ). Would it be possible to try to make it slightly rounder?
I really like the new font on #237. It has character and roundness without being overly so as in #191. It also has very similar quailities as the font in #236. I think the curve of the i in #237 is a nice compliment to the round design of the icon.
re #238 #236 Definitely like it better without the 'wave' in #219 Like these colors better than #237 Split between whether we like the curly 'i' in #238 or not. Need to simmer a bit. Perhaps if the 'tail' of the 'i' where just a hair shorter?
Also reminder, there is come lingering concern that the 'Sun' should be more circular. Perhaps not exactly a circle but closer than it is now. See: http://skitch.com/flowdelic/nw5ip/picture-8
The left-side of the now looks like it has a very slight 'hump', not perfectly curved, also too close on the left side to the 'flare dots', want uniform spacing all the way around.
Getting into hair-splitting now. Please bear with us. It might be the anti-aliasing, but zoomed in the left and top edge of the Sun still look a bit flat. Can you try to round those?
