Here's one contemporary looking design concept in few variations (#222, #224, #233), that might be interesting. I've emphasized "S", by bringing it to front and leaving "V" behind, subtly introducing the checkmark symbol (entries #224 and #233). Also square shaped icon, as form that radiates stability and trust!

Basicaly you have two options here:
One is to text emphasize "Sweetwater Venture",....if you you're doing that, logo icon shoud contain "SV" intials.
Other option is to text emphasize only "Sweetwater",...in that case logo icon should contain "SW" initials, because it would be branding disaster if you put "SV" on this option,...it would just create confusion between your customers! This is just something I've noticed during your contest,...hope it helps!

...and there are to more interesting updates on "SW" initials concept (#280 and #281). Maybe #280 looks more contemporary, but #281 with centralized appearance has a bit stronger feel to it! Hope you'll like it! Thanks!
...there are few centralized layout designs, with round shaped logo icons, on entries #295 and #296! ...I still think square shaped icons are more suitable brand frame, having in mind the work you do,...by its shape they symbolize stability and trust, and look more professional, contemporary and unique (less generic)! ..new concepts on entries #298, #299, #300 and #301, there are designs with stronger, but elegant and pro-looking font, and logo icon is combination of rectangle and circle, to make symbolic balance,...entry #299, might be interesting, becuse color sheme connects text part, with initials, appearing in logo icon!
