So happy you liked my first submission. I'm providing revisions, using a modified version of the script font for TV. I'm also showing you my original color combination, along with a brighter palette.
I prefer the colors in entry #19. It looks nice. Now if you could just incorporate something sweet like cupcakes or ice cream or candy in the background for the logo to sit on top of would be great. See if you could make the logo dripping with sweet syrup of some kind. Like cherry syrup or pink frosting. Some kind of dripping effect would be nice. Thanks.
Hi: Thanks for the feedback. I'll remove the heart (it's meant to be a petit four -- I'll think of another sweet thing to replace it.) I'm not exactly sure what you mean by background -- are you interested in seeing the logo against a specific color? A little guidance would be most appreciated!
Okay thanks. I mean a background like the logo sitting on top of a color, an image, or collage of images. Maybe a light pink and soft yellow color blend would be a nice background. Thanks.
Thanks so much for a bit of further clarification regarding the background. I decided to go with simple and soft -- keeping the feeling of the actual logo, while expanding on the sense of flowing playfullness. Two of the submissions use actual letterforms: SGTV and SG -- reinforcing your brand. The other three are more simple ribbon-like shapes. I think all of these work nicely as they accent, but don't fight with, the logo. (I'm only showing one version with the chocolates & strawberries -- I can certainly can show any of the backgrounds with this piece.)
Entry #83 is perfect as is. You used the perfect amount of strawberries and chocolates, and the cherry is in the perfect place. The 2 tear drops under the "G" are great. I just love the whole thing. But I would like to see the logo without the ribbon-like symbol in the background, just so I can compare the 2. Thanks
I'm so delighted you're liking my work on SweetGirl. It's been fun to work on and I, too, am happy with the balance/look in the most recent version. As requested, I'm submitting an alternate, identical to #83 except with the ribbon deleted. Please let me know if you'd like to see anything else.
OMG entry #89 is it!!!!! I love it more than I can express. You have been great and very patient I must say. Thanks so much for working with me. You listened and created the perfect logo for my brand I am building. Thanks again.
