I like this design very much! Just so you'll know, there is a committee of three people who are looking at these designs, so the rankings are a little off. We don't all agree on first place, and one person has not weighed in yet on any of the designs, but two of us are in agreement that your designs should rank high.
I will make sure the others take a look at entry #16. I really like the positive and negative space, and I think it is simple and elegant. I personally like the gray font.
Just so you'll know, we have a committee of four judging the results, and two of your designs have come in as favorites. All four of us like your designs 53 and 5, and we now would like to see if you can tweak them to stand out with a black background. Also, we would like the words "piano resource group" to be more prominent. We wonder how small case would look as opposed to all caps. It could be Suzuki with a capital S or suzuki, or Piano Resource Group or piano resource group. It is fine with us if the text goes out to the side of the logo, or the word suzuki might serve as a "keyboard" for the piano. Just an idea.
Some of us fought hard over your entry #16 with the white piano. :-) Personally, it was my favorite. We do like the darker cinnamon color, and the grey font looked great with our chosen web template, which can be seen here: http://demo.rockettheme.com/?template=kirigami (Preset #2)
I really like all those. I like the lower case VERY much, but one of our members has suggested that on the words, "Piano Resource Group," if the first letter of each word is in caps or bolded or a different font, and then the rest lower case it will help people make the association with the website name, www.Suzukiprg.net.
Is there a way to incorporate that into the design? The other three people on the panel have not seen these new designs yet, by the way. This suggestion just happened to come in just now.
In #81 I like the delicate white lining on the piano. Also, in #88 I like the "notch" that echoes the curve of the piano. I do like the designs where suzuki piano resource group are on the same line, but it causes the letters to have to be very small. In #86, the lettering is larger, and I think that is good. How would it look artistically if the the first letter of each word is capitalized? (I'm thinking probably not as good, but could we see it anyway?) In #89 I like the orange lettering on the black background. Could the words Suzuki Piano Resource Group be in orange to get that to stand out, and make the word suzuki small case, gray, or more subtle somehow?
One of our panel suggested that in entry #88, could Piano Resource Group be in the orange color, with the word Suzuki above the orange box in white (or gray) instead of being "in" in the box (so Piano Resource Group would stand out more)?
So we can see what it looks like, could you please put "SUZUKI" like this: "Suzuki" and "PIANO RESOURCE GROUP" like this" Piano Resource Group (bold the P, R, and G)
We very much like the changes you made to this one.
Our web designer says the other logo we had as number 1 does not fit the requirements but #5 does with the following changes (the logo needs to be rectangular shape - business card size): please put the logo on the black background as you did with the others so we can see how it will look take out the white around the piano move Suzuki and Piano Resource Group to the right side (use #95 layout on the right side so we can see if that looks good) - change the colors of theses words to look good on the black
Hi, there are new logos, i have used the horizontal composition as you suggested, but there are other variations that i think looks better, as always i will wait your opinion.
Hello this is the designer of the website stepping in to assist the client in making the correct choice. I have attached the website address below so you can see the header that the logo will be in.
1. Please use the background color #333439 so we can see exactly what it will look like in our header. 2. Make the all of the colors look better on the above background color. I believe the colors washed out and need to be darker. 3. Try removing the box around SUZUKI and make the text YELLOW, Piano Resource Group in BLUE. 4. Make the text for Suzuki Larger with Piano Resource Group underneath it. All of the examples you have given us so far the text is way too small. The text block should be the same height as the symbol. 5. Refer to the web address to see where the logo is going to go so you can see the dimensions we are working with. The logo is going to be inside the grey header area to the far left of the menu. Because of this NONE of your square logos will work for the website because the text becomes unreadable.
Please understand that we are forced to work with an area that does not have a large height. We have to fit the logo inside the header on the website. Also we need to consider the symbol and how well it will convert into a favicon.ico. If we did not have a header like we do then your other designs would work better.
Hi, i just read your last comment, first just to remember that only first ranked designer can upload designs at this stage, so please let me know if you are still interested. Second your new guidelines are helpfull, and i will be glad to help you.
