Logo Design Brief

Slogan
Smarter Infrastructure
What We Do
SP is a Cloud Utility: It replaces aging internal infrastructure with state-of-the-art, cloud-monitored equipment that is maintained and replaced as necessary for a small usage fee.
Industry
Technology
Color Preferences
Blue, Grey, White but we would be interested in seeing a palette option that works for our industry (tech/energy) and product (utilities/infrastructure devices i.e. boilers, lighting, motors, air conditioning units)
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Our goal with this logo and branding effort is to define a new product category and make our logo and name synonymous with that category (“Let’s Skype”, “I need a Kleenex”, “Do you have Dropbox”, “I took an Uber”). Sustainability Partners offers a new way to manage infrastructure for schools, airports, and hospitals. It is risk-free, reliable and innovative. SP’s business model has not been possible historically, because the technology to monitor devices inside a building wasn’t there. With the cloud, we are able to monitor all devices and anticipate problems before they happen, which means our clients experience 0 downtime and don’t have to deal with intense procurement and maintenance processes.

Discussion

Hi Everyone! Thanks for your submissions! Still haven't had a moment to fully review, but will be doing that tomorrow first thing. Let's keep it going! Perhaps if we have other ideas for how to represent the idea of "utility" or "energy" other than the plug. Again, more in-depth comments and ranking coming tomorrow.

Hi Team, we like the logos with the cloud, but perhaps we could start seeing more logos focusing on the "SP" acronym.

As for design #16, we like its elegance and the serif font.

Hey guys, we like the simple idea of energy swirling inside of a cloud. We don't want the energy look to be too busy.

Hi everyone, We appreciate your patience as we have to extend the project time. Some of our team members have been very caught up and unable to engage due to extenuating circumstances. We will be gathering feedback for everyone soon. Thanks again.

Hey everyone,

We have received new direction for our logo. We would like to focus on "SP" in a square. Strong, established. Something very recognizable.

Also, breaking news!

In addition to the concept above, we would like to see ideas for "a silver cloud with SP in it". Something like apple. Owning the cloud with our name, "SP" but keeping it simple and strong.
