We really like a clean icon with bold use of our colors, or those similar. This logo will be used on T-Shirts, screen print/embroidery, website, and business cards. Needs to be print friendly.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Ranking designs regularly will encourage participation and keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closed it will enter a Judging phase. You can re-rank designs while in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions.

Based on what we are seeing, I am most interested in an icon that represents what we do instead of using the initials of the company. For example, we have seen representations of a power button, play button, etc. Our company purpose is "Bringing friends and family together with technology, simplified by design". We would like our logo to convey the simplicity of "just push play" or something similar. Be careful though, because this is a common theme and we don't want to "rip off" another company's look.

I am finding that we like a type style where the company name is represented with capital first letters, and the rest of the letters are lower case. However, the type style of designs #11 and #12 are nice even thought it is all caps. We also like the typestyle of #16 where the Surreal is more bold than the systems. Please experiment with more of these typestyles. We have also liked the "Alwyn" font in the past. Thanks!

I am really having a hard time choosing between the "letter form mark" where the icon represents the literal name of the company, versus the "pictorial mark" where a picture relates what we do. Ultimately, I think that I prefer the pictorial mark, but I have not really seen one that is unique enough to be my favorite. Maybe a unique representation of a power button or play button, or something that is similarly recognizable. Anyone accepting the challenge?
