Dear menangan,

thank you for taking part in my tournament. Only the 2nd time in a ten years period that I encountered the situation to develop and choose a logo. I have noticed again as the time did progress and favorite designs were starting to develop that the selection process to me became somewhat more challenging. As I have seen some very interesting approaches including their refinements.

Honestly speaking your first proposal was not to my liking. But you did a good job afterwards and have pushed forward. It is still one of my top favorites. So, please don’t feel disappointed coming out forth. But at the end my final decision has led to a different design. I like to thank you for your hard work and for the fact that you’ve been willing to share with me your creativity, your flexibility for providing alternatives and time.

Thank you. Please further reduce the font size of "of the" and then try out following two alternatives with one change each:
1. replace the aquamarine blue in the burgee with gold
or
2. change the color Caribbean from navyblue to aquamarine

another idea on top of my previous comment on this one for possible refinement: maybe dropping the letters "o" and "t" in the burgee completely, so there's enough space alone for the letter "C" alone.
And then u reduce the size of the words "of the" below and have "superyacht" and "caribbean" in same size. the style of the burgee is great!

FYI I have just requested an extra three days extension, for every one in our finalist phase to have a little extra time for creativity on refinement, provided same is necessary and for me for careful consideration.
Compared with your colleagues you have made the biggest jump forward compared to your starting phase. Greetings to Indonesia.

Hello menangan, this one is strong to me. Excellent improvements from your side. With your designs offered this is the one we gonna move forward on till the finishing line.

In the icon try to reduce further the size of the letters "O" and "T" so that the letter "C" can become more prominent. I like the aquamarine lines on the burgee giving the flag a nice dynamic blown by winds. And when a yacht starts to perform a flag starts flying. Also in general we good winds here for sailing.
On the project name "Superyachts of the Caribbean" may be you divide it into three lines: "Superyachts", then "of the", and third line "Caribbean". Keep "of the" centered as I like symmetry. One straight line to the left and one to the right. Maybe also reducing of them also in size, and give "Superyachts" and "Caribbean" same font size.

Hi Menangan, I am coming back again. I must admit that you have made a good step forward by willing to take another course!

Please allow me to comment as follows:

1. after days of comparison I must say that this type of font for "Superyachts of the Caribbean" is more appealing to me than the modern fonts that you had chosen in the past.

2. the idea of using a burgee has been developed nicely by you. This #251 is great in terms of the turquoise lines in the flag. It really underlines the movement of the flag in the wind, motion, dynamic and looks my valuable to me.

I also look at your #250, #249 and #252. Actually I would like to find with you a combination of these for developing with you a strong contender here. That means: take #251 as a basis and try to integrate the flag pole like in the angle of #252. put the the flag pole over the word "Superyachts". I don't like when the flag pole is interrupting or breaking this word. I don't think that any circle around the burgee is necessary for me.

Once you get there then it is time to play with some fonts for the letters "SYOTC" in the burgee. Good progress menangan!

Hello menangan, Indonesia is a beautiful country with countless islands embedded in a tropical climate. Similar to us here. Had to go there many years a couple of time for business. I am 11 hours behind you in my location. On the other side of the planet. I see that you have picked my idea for the triangle flag / burgee. Good. But the yacht would need some much more work. If you should not be able to integrate it then you should maybe think again about the letters "SYOTC" to integrate them in the flag. Maybe a large "SY", followed by a small "ot" and another large "C". I don't know. I do not want to misguide you. Just to give you some food for thought. Because upto now you are on the weaker side with your proposals compared to the others. But I want to encourage you trying to do something else to your very first proposal. With your other four competitors I am working with them very much around their first proposal. They are to me quite strong. You are the only one that I have given the idea for the burgee/flag. Give your creativity another push. If we are not making any progress we still can work sth out on your first icon, the yacht. Best wishes, Thomas

Your font, the positioning of the words, your proposed icon on this proposal leaves lots of space for improvement, your creativity and refinement. I would like to invite you to look at some superyachts here: https://www.superyachttimes.com/yachts and google for some photos of a marina for superyachts located in the Caribbean on the island of Antigua: "antigua yacht club marina" Also, in order to give to stimulate you I want you to make you aware of the idea that triangle shape flags carrying a logo - or better the icon. I guess that you will be able to see that this topic has a lot of potential for developing a strong logo. Would be curious to learn what you can make out of this to improve your proposal. Good luck.
