Top Three Things to Communicate

#1 - Friendly, happy, fun
#2 - Reliable
#3 - Professional

Our Target Audience:

Anyone with a pet that requires sitting or walking services (based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD Australia).

Color Preferences

Our client is open to all colour options/ideas, although they would like to see some examples using purple (possibly with yellow/gold & white). Other colour options also encouraged.

Could we please see all entries on a plain white background with no shadow effects. This will allow us to evaluate all entries equally, whilst making it a little easier to visualise on signage, stickers, embroidery etc.

Our Ideas and Additional Information:

We don't really want to see smiling suns - incorporating animals (pets, i.e. dogs, cats, birds, fish etc.) would be preferred.

We are happy to see entries with gradients/depth to them (these tend to look great on websites), but if designers choose to do this, could we ask that an alternative version with solid/flat colours be submitted as well - again, this will allow us to visualise the concept on signage, stickers, embroidery etc. where flat colours are required.

Thank you to all of the designers for their submissions - our client is impressed with the variety of ideas so far.

Just a reminder that logos that will be fairly easy to use in screen printing, embroidery, and signage will be preferred, so simple shapes and colours would be best.

Our client would like to see some additional ideas incorporating more than one animal/pet (i.e. not just a dog) - if designers could somehow include other common pets* (e.g. cat, bird, fish, guinea pigs, mice/rats etc., although not necessarily all of these if it overcomplicates the logo), we'd love to see what you can come up with. *No rabbits please - these are unfortunately banned in Queensland, Australia.

We also love negative space - if we could see some negative space concepts, perhaps incorporating some animal/pet shapes into the word "sunshine", or overlapping animals that create the shape of others, these would also be great to see.

Thanks again!
