Hi Tere, thank you for the design. What about trying out some dots inside the leaves? Please refer to my general post about Batik. I would really like to see more ethnic elements in this design:)
Here's a revision..I'm researching more but trying to keep the design simple and representative of this beautiful batik styles you are seeking. They are very complex. but will continue to try some other options. I think I am feeling what you are asking, just need to capture it. Thank you, Tere
Here's on with dots to represent the batik techique. Keep in mind any substitute or rearrangement of the elements and/or colors of your choice may be done on any of these. Thank you Tere
Hi Tere, wow thanks for the entries and listening to my needs. I like no #50 and #45 the most. I would like to see #45 without the outer circle. I think its a classy and flowy ethnic design.
I thought you might like to see this one with the sun larger in proportion to your name and I changed the colors where the dots are easier to see. There should be no problem on a small print. How small are you thinking you will print?
Here's one with various color changes mimicking your batik attachment. I kept the green a little more earthy warm tone to compliment the other warm colors instead of a kelly or lime green.
Hi Terre, thank you again for the designs. In terms of the shape, my fave is still #50 or #56. Because it looks more like a sun, rather than a flower. Can we remain with this shape, but with the circle inside using no #57 and the leaf strokes of #57. I understand there are 4 strokes inside, but you can put just one or more, depending on how you see fit. Lets see how it would be with this and not the dots. I like how the leaf is also a heart shape, and to me, thats humanity.
For the packaging, the logo would prob be in a 3.5x3.5cm space. Thats all we have. The packaging design is already done.
Hi Tere, I love #59 and my friends that saw it commented that this has a stronger brand identity and it makes them happy looking at it. I have #4 as the first choice because the logo is more incorporated into the wording sunria, so it looks like one, instead of a separate logo and word, and given the small space for the logo that we have, this is more practical. If you can play with the position of your leaves and sun, so it can look like part of the sunria word, it would be best. Thank you and hope you had a good rest last night.
Hi Tere, my choice is still #59. I would like to refine it a bit more. Please give me these options to choose from:
1. I would like the lines inside the leaf to be shorter, and the indentation for the heart to be more obvious (remember i said I really like how the leaf is also a heart to represent humanity? I saw this when i zoom into the design, but I wish this could be seen more in smaller size). 2. the same but the line inside the leaf to be the red that you use inside the sun instead of white. 3. the outer leaves are made green, just like no #58 with the word organic being green.
I think this will really help me, and again i thank you so much for your beautiful designs and efforts.
Hi Terre, thank you for the revisions. I was meaning for you to provide 3 different options but I think you combined all in one. Sorry if I was not very clear. Let me write it again:
Option 1: #59 but with shorter inner lines of the the leaf and more heart shape (just how you did on #89 now). Colors remain like #59.
Option 2: Option 1(leaf shape and shorter stroke) + the inner leaf stroke is red.
Option 3: Option 1(leaf shape and shorter stroke) but with green leaf, white stroke, and green 'more than organic'. The center sun remains the same color.
