Blink, I like what you've created here. The more I look at it the more I like it. I prefer the colors of your Entry #4 (nothing against the yellow, but I find it doesn't pop enough on my travel flyers, especially when printing on my home printer!) I am going to think about the tag line - not sure if I'd keep it as-is, but I like it as an option. What I really like is how you integrated a 'sun-like' image without making it too cheesy. I was wondering how it might look if it had some 'sun beams' around it, but not sure that will improve it at all. Nice work so far! - Dana
really excited that you like it. I will work on some ways of adding to the image so keep the great feedback coming. By the way I just included a place holder tag line so you were aware you can put one in the design. If you want something specific there please let me know.
Thanks for humoring me and adding the sun rays! I think I still prefer the first version, but had to try the other out!
In some instances my logo is not going to be printed in color, but instead in black and white. Could you draft me a version of #4 in B&W? thanks...Dana
Biink, I took my logos to a small focus group today and there were many people that liked #4, but it created a debate around whether or not the color scheme is good for what I'm trying to create. The following feedback applies to a huge number of the entries, but many thought that the combo or orange/yellow and the various fonts styles made it look very retro, and not luxury. Could you play around with the font and colors possibly to make it look a bit more 'luxurious'... thanks!
Have to agree with you on the retro feel but that is tough to avoid with orange and grey. I have tweaked the design a bit, bumped up the luxury factor on both the font and colours. I will submit a black and white version to show you how this will look even more high end when printed as a grey scale. Thanks again for the feedback, it really helps.
