Thanks, Desiree! I think this concept may be too 'cute' for our event - definitely too pink. Our target audience is both male and female with refined tastes. The chefs who donate to Sugar Rush are some of the top in the country and SF, which is a foodie town, so the logo needs to reflect the high-end nature of the event. It is also in a grand ballroom in the historic Sir Francis Drake Hotel and is cocktail attire, so the logo also needs to reflect the elegance of the venue. Look forward to seeing some of your other ideas!
Hi, Desiree, Sorry for the delay, but was trying to think of guidance on #14 & #15. I like them, but I think they need some depth or texturing, both in the lettering and the strawberry. The logo will be printed both very small and very large, so it has to look both not too busy, but also not too plain - hope that makes sense! One suggestion is to perhaps add a gradient of some sort to the lettering to start and to add texture to the strawberry. Hope that helps - thanks again!
Makes sense. The strawberry does have that sense of being 'almost there' but not quite with the realism. I just need to figure out how to do it without making it look busy. :-)
And again I have another concept in my head, it's just getting it out on 'paper' so to speak.
