Hi.

Looks great. When we are finished, I intend to add the SUBWAY logo to the badge icon - so #23 works well for this as the SUBWAY logo will just sit in / be placed where the stars are (on #27).

South Island map needs to be more visable / smaller in relation to the "badge". Can you show all / more of the South Island (we have stores located at the very top - and they will be offended if they think we don't include them).

Yes - B&W version works very well - I'd use a B&W or greyscale version for watermarks on Word docs and Excel spreadsheets.

Look at the SUBWAY logo - can you bring a touch of yellow into our badge - perhaps "DA Office" remains white and "South Island, NZD"is yellow?

Like the glow effect - but works well both with and without.

A comment from one of my staff - badge looks a bit like we are policeman, which we aren't (want to reinforce that we add value to their business by folwloing our guideance / directions). Any ideas on how to step away (slightly) from a police-type shape?

Look forwad to your results.

Thanks.

Hi DASouth,
Thank you for your feedback!
You can check the new results, created according to your suggestions.
I changed shape of badge and added yellow banner.
Some of my new entries are with and without stars, and that place, as you said, can be ideal for
Subway logo. I tried to put it and it looks great!

Any suggestions?

Hi again Bordo.

I'm really liking #58 & #59 with the banner outside the shield look. Reduces the policeman-feel to the logo.

How about adding a small New Zealand flag on a grey pole which sticks up from above the "S" on South and "flaps" across to the right D.A. Office?

Also, we have 4 stars on our flag (it's called the Southern Cross) - I don't know if that is any help in terms of star pattens ideas - but would link us to NZ very well (the Australian's have five stars on their flag).

On the text - can you add a space between "South Island," and "NZD"

On the designs #51 to #56, need to add a little space between the border of the sheild and the "South Island, NZD" text - it's a touch to squashed up.

Thanks very much. It's a very good result and what I was thinking of in general terms.

Hi DaSouth,

Entries #87 #88 #89 #90 are with the more space between the border and text and with the space
between "South Island," and "NZD".
Entries #85 #86 - added a space between "South Island," and "NZD"
Also I have placed four stars in a different position #87 #89
With South Island graphic and four stars, New Zealand flag on it looks too busy.
But if you want to see it I can show you.

Hi Bordo,

OK - down to the final change, then I can post the winner.

Keep #91 as the base image. Can you shift the stars up to the top - (as in #88) - but maybe they can be a little more faded / in the background / sky and closer togeather? A tad smaller to please. The current pattern of the 4 stars in good.

"D.A." text can be changed to "DA".

"NZD" text can be changed to "NZ".

Can you give me a glossy-effect one and a non-glossy effect one.

Greyscale (for watermarks) version as well please - perhaps the solid black background will need to be a little lights - black tends to come through to strong when used in watermarks. We use them for product-spec and sandwich-prep charts.

When we've got the final version, can I send you a high-qualtity via email of the SUBWAY logo to be placed above th eshield - and suggest we try to match the yellow of the "WAY" to match the yellow of the wavey text band.

Given that we're going to select your work as the winner, can you tell me what / how many versions of the logo you are able to give me (i.e., with gloss effect, without gloss effect, greyscale, etc.)

Cheers Bordo - look forward to your reply.

Congrats!

#108 works best re: shade of blue for stars.

Slight tweek - can you centre the South Island a little more? - appricate that it will be slightly smaller and is a tough shape to work with given the sharp angle at the bottom of the shield. Angle is correct.

Thanks!
