#7 struck me as my favorite thus far when I first saw it - i'd be interested to know what your inspirtation is for the swirl symbology i do like it - is it for an "S" is there something else? -- and althoug said I liked green a lot - I do like # 8 and the blue tones you chose quite well. do 9 and 6 require black backgrounds ? or are you just showing options ? it might be worthwile to see those concepts witoutt he black backgrounds (I really like the way it pops off of the black -- but I'd also like to see #9 against white) Also wondering how #8 would look like with the #7 swirls on the left side as in #7 - Hopefully these comments somehow help you but bravo for your first stab !

About the swirl i have serious reason on swirl is presented a movement, since your business is importers,, I make 2 swirl that is for distribute (in and out) Also is "S". about #9 and #6 that just option for the layout and how it look when put in black / dark background, also option about the proportion between the size of the icon and the text, Ok, will work for the revision now and upload soon

Can you modify some things a bit so i can see them -- I like for example the letter placement on # 64 next to the symbol on number 7 - for example also try making sublime blue in that configuration if you like - also could you play with the shape of the symbole a little in 7 stetching it maybe to make it not so tall? -- just ideas I still like yours a lot !

Thank you -- if you are the finalist you will be able to tweak it -- right. ? If you have any inspiration let me know -- I gave the idea of the glass to the other designer -- so it wouldn't be a copy if you were to somehow put your "s" ( I see it more of a symbol and not an "s" inside an abstract glass somehow -- not sure if that interests you this still has a great chance as I like it a lot -- for example looking at entry #136 or #140 -- I can see the bottom half of the swirl looking like the rim of a glass -- and the top half as something coming out of the glass -- (I know it's abstract) what if there were a mirror image of the bottom half on the left side making the left side of the glass and on either left side is the top half of the "s" swirl (probably left) looking like something sticking out of the drink -- if you understand that give it a try if you can -- might look dumb bit I'm interested to see it and any other more creative idea that you may have. -- thanks

Or on the letters of Sublime / imports or both Also maybe fill the glass a little more and make look less like an apple --- but i do like!!

Hi May I know your name ? I've spent many hours to sketching but i can't find the best solution for your company, since the company Manufacturing & Wholesale Importers if we too much focused on glass it's more looks like bar or lounge, But I found one solution on #172 just tweak little bit, to adding your business industry adding abstract glass behind the symbol, just my humble opinion but let me know what do you think ?

I can imagine it will look very classy and modern in your marketing kit like catalog, business card etc

I'm Michael -- thank you - I agree I don't want to look like a bar or lounge -- I do like 172 -- I am debating the glass for the reasons you mention and also it doesn't say anything about food which I hope to add to my product portfolio soon-- I still like your original design a lot too -- I want to get some other opinions so I am glad to have the glass option - thanks and I greatly value your opinion

I agree that the logo doesn't have to go so far from literally reveal what company does. Think about the BMW for instance isn't car, and many others high end company Hawaiian airlines isn't airplane I read the brief carefully I stuck on what your company does "distribution high-end craft beers, wines, food such as olives and olive oil, cheeses and other products from Spain and other countries.

and I know your will have a very good taste and open mind to discuss that's is make me interesting and glad to participate on your contest, I like the process when client care about their brand

I agree with what you said. I like symbols like BMW , like the Swoosh from Nike, etc and I think that you really embodied it and I liked that you weren´t just thinking of an ¨S¨

Please confirm that we can tweak this over the next few days, that I will be able to have all the different kinds of files for every type of medium and even the colors names (pantone) and that you will be available and that I can depend on you for that? Thanks I look forward to your response!

Hi Hanny!!
Tweak Time : I would like to know if you could do a couple of things to #7.

1. Try to increase the intensity of the darker part green in the "s" to create a little more gradient contrast between the light and dark..
2. Remove the green from the dot over the i (to see how it looks without that)

can you play with another font as well - I like simple like you've shown just wondering if there might be a slightly more identifiable font ---

I'd also like to see how it would look to have the top half of the "s" be green and the bottom half be grey and then have the letters of "sublime" in green and "imports" in grey.

also try #137 changing the blue to green --

darker gradient icon #195 and
#196 change dot above i into same color with icon
#197 remove the dot above i
#198 half grey half green

font tweak on #7 with the famous helvetica
into:
#199 with freight sans different weight
#200 avant garde in different weight
#201 with gotham
#202 with gotham round
#203 with gotham round i just play with the size to make it balance because in lowercase on sublime and uppercase on imports

Now you'll busy to choose that one :D

if you need all the variation of #7 or variation of stacked version #137 I'll glad will deliver you once the contest end :D

With regards to 196 and 198 -- I am wondering about the following. Can there be some gradients in the FONT - with some lights and darks mixed into the font ? for example lighter on the bottom and darker towards the top ? or side to side -

Also wondering if the sharp line of contrast between dark and light gradients -- how it would look if it were more of a gradual blend without a distinctive line ?
