I think we need to clean up the overall design and by this I mean, 'less is more' especially with the font. The little bump out on the edges of the font. The scroll work should be kept simple and clean.
#187 in my opinion is the front runner, it fills the overall space we are looking for being 2-3 times wider than tall. I like the design but want to see one that has less going on. The 'I' looks like a nail more than it looks like than an 'I'. Please provide a couple options of this design
#168 - Offer a cleaner version of this logo as well. The top and bottom scroll work breaking in and out of the lettering can be distracting. Please offer a version that shows the top and bottom scroll work that works more as a picture frame and the logo really clean. Comments on the font same as
#187#125 - The 'swoosh' of the 'I' and the 'N' don't work for me. I like the use of a underline score with minimum scroll work. And the shape of the overall logo is nice but it does tend to remind me of a old 'saloon' sign and that is not what we are looking for
Overall notes - Our client base will know that we do 'forged iron' and we don't have to try to convey that in the logo. We have a high end clietele so we want a clean professional logo that will work for all medai (shirts, buiness cards, brochures, catalogs, website, etc) If you have scroll work in the design it must be simple, clean, elegant, and look authentic. These are the three designs that appeal to us so please use these three as the basis for offering options
