Slogan
Your present and Toronto's future are powered by mobility.
What We Do
StudentMoveTO is a collaboration among the four universities in the City of Toronto to motivate their 170,000+ university students to empower themselves as citizens engaged with the City, particularly to secure the transportation services that give them access and mobility to opportunities to study/live/work/play.

Color Preferences
Orange with accent colours. I have attached a pdf document with images of the wordmarks of the universities and links to their websites. The StudentMoveTO wordmark should not resemble any of the wordmarks of the 4 universities or our 2 transit agencies. It cannot be predominantly one of their signature colours - red, dark blue, black or white. It can use light blue or any of the colours of the 4 universities in "equal" combination.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Strong, bold, power, empowerment, action, movement, youthful, not institutional.
Avoid stereotypical imagery like transit agencies.

Thank you! What a great start! I should have mentioned that "TO" is a local abbreviation for Toronto, in case it matters.

We like what we see but we've decided against some directions though thank you very much for the suggestions. The graduation cap is playful and appealing, great work, but we're not going that way. The logos with rings do a nice job of combining colours but look too Olympic. Logos with people figures look too sporty.

I wonder if an image of the CN Tower could be adapted to be the T in TO. (We use the CN Tower a lot in Toronto iconography.)

Thanks to those who tried using the CN Tower but I got reversed on that by my team. Sorry for the churn.

Part of the redirect I got was a suggestion to use a map of the area (Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area GTHA) which is the area in which student travel takes place. A good example of a logo that effectively uses a GTHA map can be found at http://www.torontomade.net/

We're pretty intrigued by the map designs.
