Thanks for the quick entry on Entry #1! I like that this logo could be used on a white/off-white background. In our contest brief we mention using Cream and Crimson as colors. I will be interested to see how some logos could utilize that color scheme. It is likely that our logo will be in Crimson (or mostly a darker shade like that) on top of a white or off-white background (such as a cream color).

I definitely like the sharp edges on the 't' and 'h'.

For the crimson color we would like to see, try the following RGB (8-bit) values
R: 136 G: 31 B: 27

Also, I like the gradient in your SolarPaks logo, I think that element adds some depth to the logo and could help out this design.
