I'm sorry you are missing out on this contest... it would not be fair to the other artists that have been working so hard to be removed from the top 5...
Hello there
before I say sorry for late reply to your this request message
because I just came from vacation and away from my computer
and this time contest is already on finalist phase
only top 5 designer rank can submit new revision
if you still want to see revision from me you can put me on top 5 designer rank contest
REALLY like this shape and boldness of it.
we like the thick green and yellow lines/borders better than #46 which has multiple thin lines. Please use this approach going forward (thick bold single lines rather than thin).
Placing in top 3 again!
can you please rework the line artwork, inside the medallion, either redraw or create your own versions. The final winning logo will have a simple line and solid shading (no gradient) of the house and trees. Somethings we've seen is positive/negative of the house or trees (ie the background is RED and the lines are white, with white shading in some areas of the house and trees. Anxious to see your revision. Please only do 4 versions of these finalists (of #50, #46, #52 and #53)
Hi Pandu,
thanks for all the versions and revisions. We will be ranking and providing feedback on most quickly, but for now sending some the the "prefer others" to focus on the remaining.
On this one, the detailed filigree is too detailed. we're trying to go more simple and clean thick bold lines, even with the inn artwork.
WOW, you really took our feedback and came up with a really cool unique shape! it's number one as of now.
General Updates/ revisions:
please see revised brief. Mainly, we really want to stick to the same font to unify the two inns (perhaps one version with outline and one without. Also, the medallion artwork should be even less detailed. If you can use the mug artwork (the one you already used) and derive a simpler more modern clean line version, that would be what our final product should look like.
Can we see your own artwork inside the medallion, some new versions of simplified art based on our original artworks that captures the inn and trees but in a simpler line art?
(you can create one artwork and put inside the various ranked versions)
For this specific version:
Wow, we love that you created a new shape !!!! Love it!. We would like to see a few versions of this one:
a) one version without the stars, but with "STRAWBERRY" in larger font to fill the space more and be more pronounced.
b) Another versions with "STRAWBERRY" in larger font, and only "CREEK INN" below in slightly larger font, and the 3 stars UNDER the Creek Inn
c) same as b, but replace 3 stars with one simple strawberry, a modern outline, or a leaf or something simple like the WINDINGS 2 characters (a, b, c, d), as an example

Ok, looks like the font is good. We like the shape and general layout, also the red lines above and below the medallion (the outlines) are unique and interesting.

Please review the brief again, as there are detailed instructions. Specifically, all your submissions are:
1) not the correct font (see style sheet PDF)
2) Not an oval, while we may entertain the idea of other shapes, if we have to choose between a circle or an oval, and oval is what we highly prefer.
3) the artwork looks "squished" or compressed vertically so the house is distorted. If you are to use the historical artwork, you'll need to rework it into your design.
Please resubmit for consideration, we'd love to see what you come up with. Adding this to all design versions.
