Comment Activity Medi commented on #270 Withdrawn Update #270 #271 5 years ago Medi commented on #269 Withdrawn Got it, will be there shortly 5 years ago Medi commented on #268 Withdrawn Thank you:) understand, i am still wide open for any more inputs. 5 years ago qci commented on #269 Withdrawn Hi Medi, I picked this one over your #268 because there is a bit more detail on the lower half of the house. BUT, we like the trees (white limbs!) on your #268. can you make these two quick revisions: 1) add tree limbs WHITE from #268 as in prior versions to this one. 2) let us see two versions, one with border as is, and a second with the outermost red line removed, the inner red line border thicker, and tighter white border around (basically removing extra white but still keeping a nice thick white border around. I hope this is clear. :) thanks for your continued work 5 years ago qci commented on #268 Withdrawn sure, thank you. Ranked. FYI, the rankings of the top 5 are not yet finalized. 5 years ago Medi commented on #268 Withdrawn Please check update #268 also #269 5 years ago Medi commented on #209 Withdrawn Sure, i am now on my computer, and will submit update in minutes 5 years ago Medi commented on #209 Withdrawn Thats what i thought too..all the artworks was yours, none of us can claimed. the simplified of it was requested on the brief from CH. But i still will try to find the way to simplify , especially the trees. 5 years ago qci commented on #209 Withdrawn Medi, please upload your revisions from last night in the next 3 hours... thanks! 5 years ago qci commented on #209 Withdrawn I would like to know which one, although now I suspect I know for sure. Please see my comments just added to the brief and DO NOT withdraw. To any admins monitoring this: I asked several artists through SEVERAL phases to make the artwork simpler and add white lines. that aside, turning a design element negative (meaning white vs dark lines) is a common practice that CANNOT be claimed as the 'idea' of any one artists... im sorry guys but I've been doing this long enough to know that. 5 years ago Medi commented on #209 Withdrawn Hi Qci, One of designer asked me to withdrawn my entries, the ones with white tree branches. 5 years ago qci commented on #209 Withdrawn sure, thank you. heading to grab dinner myself. 5 years ago Medi commented on #209 Withdrawn Hi, i am out of home, will submit update once im back home in couple hours :) 5 years ago qci commented on #209 Withdrawn For the red border around the trees, can you connect it to the red block with 'STRAWBERRY CREEK INN' text? it seems to be floating above and disconnected. please add some white space between the green trees and the red border around the trees so that the red/green colors are not touching. 5 years ago qci commented on #209 Withdrawn Hi Medi thanks for the revisions. ok I know I asked for the detail on the windows on the right side of the house from above the RY in Strawberry and to the right... that used to be solid. Well you were right, please make it solid again. (like in #197) 5 years ago Medi commented on #209 Withdrawn Please check this update #209 5 years ago qci commented on #176 Withdrawn no worries! I will move the black version as "not interested" so as not to accidentally delete the wrong ones. submit when ready... 5 years ago Medi commented on #176 Withdrawn Sorry i just read these comments after submiting on black version:)..will try as suggested above and submit asap 5 years ago Medi commented on #197 Withdrawn On black #197 #198 5 years ago qci commented on #176 Withdrawn please also place a thin red line around the line art as in your #160, same thickness as there. 5 years ago qci commented on #176 Withdrawn Hi Medi GREAT work on simplifying the artwork further.... can we see the follwing fixes on the line art: 1) on the tree trunks above the words CREEK, some tree trunks are in red and some in green. can you make all Green. I know this means adding white space around the color separations (we like that). 2) Go ahead and remove the green bush in front of the house above the 'RAW' in Strawberry. please complete the house look (see website for current photo). 3) The windows above 'BERRY in strawberry look great, but they go 'dark' between the RY in Strawberry and the EE in CREEK as they wrap around the house. can you recreate the open windows there? Thank you for your continued hard work on this! 5 years ago Medi commented on #135 Withdrawn Thank you:) I am wide open for more input and suggestions. Will also keep trying to simplify the artwork 5 years ago qci commented on #135 Withdrawn excellent... definitely In the top 5 as of now :) I don't anticipate any other updates for now. again, we'll probably have to work on colors / versions alter but the line art is looking spot on for your submission. 5 years ago Medi commented on #135 Withdrawn Please check this update #135 5 years ago qci commented on #130 Withdrawn take your time... line art is not easy and would love to see your interpretation close to being finalized. 5 years ago Medi commented on #130 Withdrawn Sure, will try that and submit shortly 5 years ago Medi commented on #131 Withdrawn another color tweaks #131 #132 5 years ago qci commented on #130 Withdrawn OK. thanks for the revise. anyway we can simplify the line art more please? specifically, we were thinking to remove all the roof horizontal lines, and the windows are too detailed, perhaps remove some of the 'cross' and just leave basic tall rectangles for the top floor windows, the half moon should be one semicircle, and maybe the bank of windows (above the RR in BERRY), should also remove the 'cross; and be simpler tall rectangles? We'd like to see a revision or few with simpler house line art to finalize... thanks! 5 years ago qci commented on #129 Withdrawn Hi Medi, thanks for the quick revise... ok this one did not turn out as we'd envisioned. I'm going to turn it over to your artistic side to revise... do the tree limbs need to go white? maybe we cant mix green/white that closely? I'll leave for you to consider a versions of this and will focus on you #130. 5 years ago Medi commented on #129 Withdrawn Please check update #129 #130 5 years ago Medi commented on #98 Withdrawn Hello, Thank you for your feedback and rank:) will try as suggested and submit asap. Kindest Regards Medi 5 years ago qci commented on #98 Withdrawn Hi Medi, WOW, thanks for your entries! we really like your interpretation of horizontal hexagon #98. I'll rank this and place others in 'prefer other'. Can you please make a few revisions before the finalist round closes: 1. in this #98, please add our GREEN color behind the 'STRAWBERRY CREEK INN' text. 2. can you remove all shading/gradients and keep pure solid colors (green or red), specifically the shading inside the trees should be solid or white. 3. Please simplify the house artwork, maybe remove some of the horizontal line on the roof so it's solid... 4. perhaps a version with the trees in green, the house and outer border in red, balanced as your see fit. Not sure about this one until we see it. In your revisions, please use your artistic expertise to interpret our intent... I have a hard time being specific about line art. We're trying to get a balanced more simple and modern line artwork, but not too modern. 5 years ago
