I just noticed that when I saw your existing logo on your website. I'm going to modify it to be a bit more appropriate. Also, I have an entirely different idea I'm working on. I'll upload soon.
Sorry about that first submission looking to commercial, I didn't catch that until after I uploaded it. Also, I just now noticed you asked that the letter S not be used. I made these versions before I saw that but figure I will upload them anyway. They are using a letter s in a negative space sort of style.
I like this version much better. Let's try a few different versions of this. Imagine a business card in a rack full of other business cards. We'd want someone to see that we do "Construction, Landscape, Design-Build" as SOON as they saw the name. Thanks!!
Wow... you got the "being built" concept down... I think there may be something there... the background is making the whole thing a little too busy. What can we do with the concept without the background? Also, maybe the house should be "built" from left-to-right?
I think I was trying to go too abstract, so I combined the two solid house shapes and made the contstruction part a little larger. I'm running out of time here, so let me know what you think. If you like it, but want to see some revisions.... the 1st ranked designer can submit new designs after the contest is over during the judging phase.
