#44 is a definite possibility. Love the type - very clean and attractive (I think the orange is warmer - the green isn't ruled out as "green building" is big - but for now I like the orange better.) The logo is a good start. Let's try a couple revisions. First, can you shape the small squares into the "house shape (ie. square w/ triangle on top). Second, can you insinuate "building" with the squares in some way? Maybe that some of the squares are perfectly lined-up, while others are being "placed" in-line? I'm not sure I'm explaining the idea well - please feel free to ask if that doesn't make sense. Thanks!

Thank you very much for your feedback! This is the version with "house shape"

This is the "building" idea. Please let me know if I have understood you wrong or you want to see this idea in another way. Thank you!

Thanks for the revisions. I don't think I explained it clearly (sorry)... I'm wondering if you can make the individual squares into the shape of a house. It looks like you made individual houses into a big square (the inverse of what I said...)

For the second revision - I'm wondering if you can take the original squares concept (where the individual squares make one big square or the house shape) - and make it look like the individual squares are falling-in-line. As if the squares are coming together to "build" the house.

I re-read what I wrote before and realize it was really confusing. We're not looking for something that looks like a tall building. That's what we have now and it doesn't work. Hopefully this is clear. If not, please msg me and I'll try to explain.

Thanks again!!

Sorry! I didn't understand it well. These are about the "house" version

I’ve worked with the idea of the squares coming together to "build" the house. With few squares it doesn’t look like a house, with more squares it does, but I think it doesn’t work quite well as you don’t know if the house is being built or quite the opposite. I send an example. Thank you for all your feedback!

Yes - that was what I was asking for. Unfortunately, it was an awful idea on my part :-\

Let's go back to #44... what can we do to soften it a little? Also, with this design can we make the logo smaller and the text more prominent - especially the tag-line (which is now construction, remodeling, landscape)??

Is there a way to place the logo on the left and not make the entire thing too big? Maybe a few variations off of #44. I like it because it's simple. I just don't want to run into the same problem we have with out existing logo. When people look at our business cards they have no idea what we do.

Thanks!

Also - is there any way to use a gradient to insinuate that the logo is being "built" (ie from left-to right)??

Thanks for the revisions. I don't think the box concept is gunna happen. For #187, it's an interesting start... what can we do to incorporate the versatility of our business? We may do light commercial (stores, restaurants, etc...) in the future, so we're trying to stay away from a full-on house in the logo.
