I think we are leaning towards a logo that does NOT use Letterform Mark

In this case, contest brief update is necessary to avoid further confusion.
And ranking entries would come handy, too (or at least marking them as Not Interested).

Sorry just updated the brief, I am leaning towards removing the logo as well. I want to focus on the strength of the "Stone" name, which is an institution.

briefing is our guide to think and work and visualize the logo using "stylistic sliders", if you want the logo simple.. you should move the slider to the simple side, if you want focused on lettermark , you don't have to show "abstract mark", and you can fill "our ideas and additional information" to describe what you want...., I hope you can understand how we work

~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

Please note that Stone is my last name and therefore do not want any logos with a picture of a stone. Thanks.

As you can see I like the clean cut, modern look. If you could come up with a few more designs with the same feel that would be great.

Just extended the contest, 2 days was the least amount of time, myself and key members of the team will be in meetings most of tomorrow so we wont be able to stay on top of the conclusion. I think we are close to finding our logo and I wanted to thank everyone for the amazing submissions. I'm really impressed with everyone's work and we will be using the new logo in all future ads

oh thank you, I was unaware of how the ranking system worked past the top 10, I had been putting all logos outside the top 10 in the NI to help keep organized bc of the large amount of submissions
