Here's something with versatile branding potential. It doesn't lock you into coffee (or beverages, for that matter). In many instances you would be able to use the single word "stir" with great impact. It's pleasant, clean, simple, suggestive, versatile, and economical. Please let me know what you think (I'm liking the idea...).

you might 'create a stir' with t-shirts, aprons, visors, etc...

If there's something specific you'd like to see, don't hesitate to ask...

Cheers, Steve.

Seems a number of other designers have decided to follow suit. We do have do have rules and a mechanism for dealing with mimicry but I prefer to avoid confrontation. So, the alternative is to assure you that I am happy work with you to your complete satisfaction - now or later...

imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, eh?

with regards to entry 28.... a small issue i see is that 'Your' is capitalized and Passion is not. i tend to like all small caps, but i also like the 'intersection' of the "y" and the "s" of 'stir'. is there a remedy?

Thanks for the feedback, Erik. I too like the 'intersection' as you say, and the overall balace of whitespace and accompanying visual rhythm. I do have one small change in mind...

Capitalizing "Your" while leaving "passion" lower is called 'sentence case'. So, by finishing the sentence with the appropriate punctuation, hopefully I have made sense of things. My thinking is that "Your passion!" is referential (and subordinate) to "stir" which I see as the principal branding element - "stir" the business outfit and its offerings and the things talked about in its blog become the object of "Your passion!".

Steve,

What are your thoughts about using both 28 (or 110) and 30....

OK. Thanks steve. Was out of town for the weekend, training on coffee.

I am going to select you tomorrow. My wife and I were thinking though, what about the ".com"?

I hate to get too many versions, but I do see "stir" and "stir your passion", but do I need to add a ".com" just to indicate the website (on certain literature etc) to make a strong impact of our web presence?

Sorry for the questions....

Erik

BTW, if you are a coffee/tea drinker, do i have the products for you!

I am a coffee drinker, as a matter of fact:)
A ".com" version is a good idea - I'm happy to include one.

Ok. I am selecting the one. but would like to get the various versions of course. Thanks so much, and nice job.

They say with Canadians, its not whether they drink coffee, its only a matter of how much!

Give me a mailing address.... I'll ship you some samples. There's some green tea and hot chocolate as well (my kids love the hot chocolate, even though it has a bit of a dark chocolate taste)
