Very touched! And, at the same time, also saddened to hear that making connections like this through this site is so rare? Artistic talent is such a precious gift. For people like you to share that gift to help organizations like mine grow and reflect and present themselves anew to the world is truly invaluable. All I can say is that people sure are missing out...
#101, #102 Had to change the font on "Project" in order to differentiate it and make the text a bit smaller so it wouldn't look so overwhelming. Hope that works :)
Thanks for #101 & #102. The font change makes total sense!
Oh, you're in Eagle Rock. I kept seeing the later time stamp on the comments so thought you were in a different time zone. Now I realize all of them are later! I see on the map that Occidental College is in Eagle Rock. Are you a student there?
Thank you so much for posting something. I unfortunately can't read it as designers are not able to access contest holder forums, but I am sure it was lovely.
No, I didn't go to Occidental, I went to Cal State Fullerton. I have only lived in Eagle Rock for about 7 years. Before that I lived in Long Beach which is a great city and I really miss it, but it was too long a commute for work.
I read your post and I was right, it was really lovely! Thank you so much! I am actually a freelance graphic designer and use LT to make some extra money and have luckily picked up a few great clients as well.
Unfortunately it's against LT rules to discuss any outside projects until the contest is complete so as to keep it fair to all designers because some will offer deals in order to win a contest. :)
Wanted to give you a quick update. We are basically trying to decide amongst ourselves which exact version to go with. The main debate is between tag line vs. no tag line. There are also a few people that still like the spiral better than the concentric circles.
