I just returned from a weekend of supporting men to deal with their trauma so they can stop harming and starting healing. It was an incredible experience. I pass along a link. Perhaps you know a man that would benefit: https://mankindproject.org/
sculptor, you have generated so many options for us to consider. Your communication has been prompt, professional, and clear. You've acted with integrity. Your toad rendering skills are outstanding. You have translated our written request into an image with extraordinary skill.
Unfortunately we can only pick one winner and someone else has managed to create a combination of icon and font that suits our company and project a bit better.
I would like to reciprocate in some way for your time and effort. Is there an organization I can make a donation to that is meaningful to you?
I've made 5 versions gradually getting simpler in terms of detail and color. I tried to preserve the personality of the toad in the process. Unfortunately entries don't show in order of simplicity so please take a note of that.
Yes of course, I can simplify it. All depends on the displayed size. If this is landing page logo it can be more detailed. Otherwise it can be fairy simple. I will prepare a couple of versions with different levels of complexity.
I’m wondering if you could simplify the geometry on the toad’s belly. I’m getting feedback from my survey that toad is too complicated/has too much detail.
It makes a lot of sense but I can't copy their ideas. It would be against our rules. Of course I can put Steel and Toad in one line as I did before but without any other connection to IT as it wasn't my idea. Sorry.
II hadn't dwelled much on font before so now I've tested some more options. I added also colors you requested but when thinking about I used black because it seems to suggest more technical instead of biological approach. Please let me know if you still prefer to see all in green and gray.
Musing on font. My wife and I have been leaning towards lower case. To us, it communicates a more modern, tech savvy feel.
I've received a couple other submissions where the word 'steel' is a steel colored grey, and the word 'toad' is in the darkest shade of green that you've used. I'm not attached to that but what I've seen, I've liked.
I've modified geometry of the belly and touched some other details. The main difference between #71 and #70 is in the face expression. #70 is more on the "disillusioned" side.
Thanks! Let me assure you that you are not the only one. My daughter also admires toads (she despises spiders so it isn't a blanket statement).
I will try farther to fine tune some details in the image. I hesitated a lot about the colors as green has very wide scale from quite dull, muted tones to extremely vivid, unprintable hues. So I'm not sure if you prefer to go wild with color or want to limit it somehow.
@sculptor, you have captured the unstated majesty that I perceive in toads (I may be the only person on the planet who feels this way) exceptionally well.

I like the complexity of the shapes in the green portion this #101. Could I see what it would look like with the simpler gray belly of #156

Thank you for providing me with so many versions.

Could you put the “steel” and “toad” side by side and create the “IT” in the middle with it? Does that make sense?
