Reagarding Entry #10 - The way you stacked the words is interesting - adds emphasis to both. I like the font design - it is ownable - but I find the "t" distracting - I am not sure if it is the very subtle cross on the letter or the extension below the other letters that makes it look like s/a/s.. I do like this direction but I tend to like ideas that use some symbolic reference to sports or sports stats.

Thanks for the helpful feedback, I shortened up the 't's a bit & added the left stroke of the cross on the 't's
My icon concept is a clipboard with some stats on the page.
I'll try another design using a different font as well...

Regarding #15 - The "t's" are better - I really like the font direction quite a bit - but the t's look like knives in these executions and therefore distract me from sports / stats. I like the symbolic clip board - I carry one at all the games that I score. I would like to find an ownable mark.

Couple of comments regarding the mark - The clipboard with the box behind it - give it an appearance of an X to me. Also - I am not sure the stacked words work as well with the leading mark. Finally, I cannot read the words on the clipboard and perhaps just a grid to capture stats instead of words / numbers would work better.

Regarding #33, #27 and #24

I like the clipboard with the grid - I would like to see this without the check mark. The check mark does not represent any sports statistic symbols. The challenge is coming up with a stat symbol that does not represent one sport as my blog is about many sports. Two ways to meet this challenge - one use multiple sheets with a baseball stat symbol on one page, a basketball symbol on another and say a golf symbol on the third sheet. The other way to solve the problem would be to use a blank grid can represent all sports - Every game starts with a blank scoresheet.

I like the relative size of the font on #33 vs #24 - I would like to see #33 on a white background.

Nice work.

I think that we are getting very close - I like #40 and #41. And also like #42. I need to think about which I like more. You have given me good choices. I would like two more options to review - #42 on a grey background. Also I would like to see #42 with the following revisions - replace the three sports images with the following symbols - a 3 in a circle (golf birdie), a circle with an X in it (two free throws made in basketball), the outline of a diamond with a HR in it (baseball HR). Thanks so much.

#43 and #44 - Thanks for trying this - I think the that symbols in black / bold are too strong - if they were smaller and in the orange yellow like the original check mark - it might work - but I think that I like the simplicity #40 and #41. In your very talented opinion - what do you think?

Thanks for asking my opinion, I do agree that the black is a little strong, here are a couple options with the
symbols smaller/orange & also one with all three symbols on the same page (I think this works well, even though all three sports wouldn't realisticly be on the same stat sheet, but in the logo world, sometimes
reality can be tweaked in the name of good design)
Also, if the orange symbols are too light, we can try grey...
Let me know.

Regarding #47 and #48 - I will defer to your judgement on grey vs orange. I am still leaning toward the simplicity of #41 and #40. I am also still very much drawn to #42. I recommended the stats symbols because I did not like the golf or basketball graphic treatment in #42. But I really like the batter. Do you think it the following would work. replacing the basketball on the hoop with a girl (pony tail) shooting and replace the golf ball on a tee with a leg shooting a soccer ball. Finally, I know this is subtle -but can you change the direction of the batter - my son is a lefty. Of all of your designs for me which on do you like best?

I'll give the girl's b-ball & soccer images a try, it might be hard to make out the girl shooting the ball
image on a small scale though. In my opinion, I like the simplicity of #48. Thanks for asking.

Thanks for all your work - My wife and I are split between the #48 and #50. She loves the silhouettes of the players on the grid / clip board because it communicates youth sports and stats. I love the baseball player and the basketball player - they almost look like my kids - I am struggling with the soccer image. Therefore I moved #48 to the top. But I am still considering #50.

I tried something different here with the soccer image, just a player (or coach) holding the soccer ball...

Regarding #54 - thanks for trying - soccer guy still not working - I think #40 is still working the best.
