Stationmaster's HouseLogo Design Contest

#2: I like the house in the design, I'd like a more obvious representation of the water and forest, perhaps with a tree or leaf. I'd prefer a white background. I'm thinking either something with more natural colours to represent the water and the forest or something a lot more vibrant and colorful but still representing the loch and forest. This is a great start, thanks!

Thanks for them. The elipse works well with the dark background but I am not sure about it with the white background.

Hi, can we try #19 with a lighter background (white) or green/blue (similar to #7, 10 & 11) - I'm not keen on the black background and perhaps the fish a little bit smaller. Also would it be possible to try this in a circle as in #7 and 10, even if it has to be a little bit bigger and perhaps with the fish on the outside of the circle. I like the new font but I'm undecided on which I prefer at the moment. #20 is just not quite vibrant enough!

#35 - I like this one and this is the best font! Could we try a finer outline, perhaps just one colour and also try the fish in a darker colour with a white background. I'm not sure how the fish would look in salmon colours to maybe add a little bit more colour to the logo - it might work or it might just look naff!! It would also be good to see the sky a little paler to give more of a contrast. I'm not so keen on the others with the fish inside the circle.

#43-45: I like this concept but it doesn't look quite right. There's lots of space above the text and none below and 'house' looks very squished. I prefer #37 and 38 at the moment. I do however like the black outline around the image on #45 and I like the blue font colour that changes from light to dark, I'm not sure if these will work together in the format of 37 and 38?!

Hi there

I just wanted to check with you about the new designs you've submitted (#73-76). I notice you've used the same image in a few of your other competition entries. If we were to pick this logo would this image then be exclusively ours or would you still be able to use it in other designs? I'm not exactly sure how this side of it all works so would appreciate your feedback.

Would you be able to provide us with the logo with black background and white background?

we work mostly with illustrator and photoshop so if you could provide files in illustrator that might make our lives easier in the long run.

yes no problem. after you select a winner, i can upload you as many files as you like with both backgrounds, and as .eps files and .jpg files too.
