Really like this a lot. I love how the word media fits under Starscape. I like the view of the sky inside the star. Right now that is definitely along the lines of what I'm looking for. I want to be able to see the night sky somewhere within the logo. The film strip look underneath the star is really cool too. The logo needs to be reproducable in black & white - which I think this would be - but it also needs to have some other really vibrant, bold colors mixed in so that it would stand out from the black/blue/purple background on our website. www.starscapemedia.com The colors I'd be interested in seeing mixed in are magenta/yellow/oranges/greens

You got it boss, I'll get started on that tomorrow. I won't disappoint! Glad you like it.

Thanks! One other note: I'm looking for a logo that's more "contained" - rather than one that goes across in a straight line. In other words, the logo (whether it's a star, circle, square, rectangle, etc.) should fit in a square box without much wasted space. Unless the logo is a word mark I'm more into seeing more image, less text. So for your current design, I'd like to see a bigger star image - with the text inside the star - or something to that effect. The text should show up and be readable, but the image is the biggie.

a couple ideas i played with before calling it a night. more square. Will definitely give it more thought and work tomorrow. Thanks again for the feedback. Much appreciated. You guys aren't too far from KY here...

Didn't realize you were in KY! Hello neighbor!

I like the more square approach, but proportionally the text is way too big in the newer logos.

You may want to note the comments I've added recently on the main contest page too.

Thanks!!!

#45 will allow the logo to stick out AND blend in with your background !!!

I like it in a lot of ways, and you're right - it does stand out and blend in. I'm concerned that it looks too elementary school in general though. I'm thinking maybe we need something more sophisticated and dynamic. Our motto is "Reach" - as in "reach for the stars," "the skies the limit," type motto. Think you could substitute the camera silhouette with a person reaching for the stars? I think your comets are a little too big - would like to see those smaller and more subtle. Thanks for trying to play with the text. I meant kerning (space between letters) for the scape part, I shouldn't have said leading. Not sure it will work to play with the kerning on scape but I figured it couldn't hurt to try. Thanks for your efforts. This logo design thing is exhausting on my end so I can imagine it is for all you designers as well!

entry #45 no longer exists so you can just put Not Interested on it.. I lost the original file and had to start from scratch... a hand reaching out..

(This comment references Entry #52)

Thanks for your efforts LexLogo. I think the hand is just too big and awkward altogether. The text doesn't work with the logo either I don't think. Thanks for working on it though.

#135 - very creative concept! Not sure it fits what I'm looking for but I'm impressed with your creativity there! I think it's a little too space-age for what I'm looking for. I think the font is what does it - plus the letters leaning back - not into that much. I really like your stars and comets a lot though.
