Star Fleet offers cruises on Clear Lake and Galveston Bay (Houston, Texas) for corporate events, weddings and celebrations.

We have an existing logo that has served us well for 16 years. You may see it at www.starfleetyachts.com The problem with the old logo is that it needs updating and we would like to include a sketch or the lines of a modern entertainment yacht like our STAR GAZER yacht (see website) in the logo so that at a glance, people will know what we do. We do not want the exact lines of one of our yachts but a modern, stylized version that represents a sleek modern yacht. This is important as some internet directories only allow your logo, not a photo. For example in a bridal directory, the bride should see that we offer cruises on a modern yacht.
May 29th update – The following is just some thoughts about the logo design based on the few samples that I've seen so far and do not represent contest requirements.
1. I love the most recent stylized sketch of the yacht.
2. How about putting a "*" star above the word "STAR" and the yacht above the word "FLEET" that way the images are tied to those words
3. I like the yacht moving from left to right not right to left
4. The logo "look and feel" should be simple, elegant, modern nautical
