Hi guys, Here is the logo idea (#2) I came up with after reading over your design requests. The 3 ties here form a strong bond, as you mentioned, and this one reflects that of a preaching messenger. This could reflect either Jesus and his teachings, or your members themselves as they preach to one another about staying strong in their faith, values and other issues.

I look forward to hearing what you think, and whether or not you immediately recognized it as a personified teaching symbol. I will be around most of the evening (watching the baseball game) should you decide you want to see some revisions or discuss things further.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks. I like the color scheme and the idea here. Is there a way to make the left, top and right cord be single cords that wrap together to form the "body" below with the three cords? Also, looking at #3, I would like the title to say "St. Michael St. Albert's" above with the words maybe having a dot to separate them-- the rest of the words (Men's Groups) and the position of the words relative to the picture is good. I should have specified the title part earlier but seeing your design helps me bounce it around to get it right.

Thank you.

the idea of the design is from Matthew 10:16. "a three fold cord is not easily broken"

Wondering if you've had a chance to consider my changes above. The reason is, I'd really like to get the design done in the next 24 hours so I can have flyers for this weekend. If you can figure out the single cords going into one twisted cord I believe we'll be very close!

thanks!

Sure thing. I have been working on most of the morning, and I hope to have revisions posted soon. Thanks!

Sorry for the delay; I was trying to use my original design while thinning out the chords, but just couldn't get it to look right. So, I started from scratch with the 3 chords forming the body/preacher. This one is more organic and natural-feeling, which I think pertains nicely to the overall idea as well.

Let me know if this has more of the look and feel that you were hoping for.
Thanks!

Like it. Here's the deal. I need to get flyers made tomorrow. This is only my second contest and I thought there was an option to end the contest early, but I can't find it anywhere on the site.

It would be great if I could get a hi-res copy of design #11 to use tomorrow? JPG would be fine as long as it will enlarge from 81/2 x 11 to poster size without granulation. Not sure how this works with the rules but essentially I will select #11 for his contest. Sorry for all this tight timing.

If you're not comfortable with this I understand-- one way or the other I will be selecting #11. Do you know how to end the contest immediately?

If you're in MN then we're easy to find-- St MIchael, MN at St Michael Catholic Church. My email is sdhouse@charter.net if you can send me the #11 file.

Thanks!

Hey, that sounds great. I am totally fine with that. One option to end your contest early would be to contact admin at support@logotournament.com and request them to manually do it for you. Ivan is really great about handling requests like that.

I am in Burnsville so I am pretty familiar with St. Michael. I actually did an album cover for one of the church's there a couple years ago (I used to freelance for Legacy Productions.). It's a small world!

Talk with you again soon!
