What We Do
We are relaunching this iconic brand as a healthy line of pet foods and treats for dogs. Spuds is no longer the party animal he was back in the day. He now needs to keep a healthy lifestyle. The original party animal has given up drinking for yoga ( attached a picture of a dog doing yoga for inspiration-downward dog perhaps?
These pet/dog products will be all natural and will need to appeal to dog owners that want to give their pet the best ingredients for health and wellness.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
Spuds Mackenzie was a very famous and iconic dog that was previously associated with beer products. We cannnot use a logo or mascot that is a bull terrier or any dog that is substantially similar to the Budweiser version of theSPUDS MACKENZIE character; or a font or typeface that is substantially similar to the font or typeface used in the advertisements featuring the SPUDS MACKENZIE character. We need to reinvent Spuds and can use elements from the original character such as an eye patch. A design that gives a nod to the past but is new and different. I attached a logo for a foundation called Sholly (www.myscholly.com). This is a good example of the kind of logo that appeals to me.
