What We Do
Sportxiom makes the process of following sport easier and more entertaining
Industry
Sport
Color Preferences
solid colours
Our Ideas & Additional Information
1. Two dimensional
2. preferably no colour gradients, reflections, shine, shadows
3. Sport agnostic (no specific sport should be highlighted)
4. Ideally a wordmark with a distinct abstract element that can be used on its own (e.g. as a favicon (.ico)
5. The wordmark should be in one case (all capitals or all lower case)

UPDATE (7th May): Going by logos we like that are out there, the sportxiom logo might:

1) Have sportxiom in a modern/elegant font.
2) Use an abstract element (in multiple colours) that symbolises something we are trying to stand for like "the positive collective energy and passion of sports fans" or other aspects of fandom like "clapping hands" etc. That might be better than a simple "X".

Logo Designer
Hi,

in the brief it says "cutting edge". This can mean many things.

Please tell us if you prefer font references to
1. classical greek athletic style (font with serifs)
2. american college style (square font with angles)
3. technical style (thin sans-serif font with a lot of spacing in between.)
4. Other font preferences

Thanx

great design guys!

We would love to settle on a logo that has a great corporate look, but could also serve as a website logo.

It would be nice to see some designs that have the abstract mark before or after the logo and the entire wordmark a single font and colour

As the logo will be consumer facing, feel free to be playful with the designs.

The abstract mark needs to tell a story or communicate a concept, no?

Please keep in mind that for some reason when a dark gray is used on logotournament that the color appears blurry. #20 #36 #51 #52 #53 #54

Guys, try to take inspiration from #53. We like how it is a bit playful, but not overly busy. The colours are spot on. It's something that could work on a website, but also be a company logo. Also the squares could potentially be iconic and a template for any potential collateral.

A bit ambitious but we would be thrilled with a logo where the abstract mark and the wordmark can both work together and also stand alone.

Try not to box-in or circle-in the art mark. Let it be "open"

Really great stuff guys! Don't pay too much attention to the rankings - any of the top 4 could win it. We'll decide the winner in the coming hours (maybe days :)
