This concept had simplicity in mind. less colors means easier to print for shirts, hats, and anything else needed.

Thank you very much for the entry. For me it would be too much red and I dont think the name stands out enough. I looked through your work and like some stuff you done, like Inovaxe and carnage mma. Thanks for the fresh concept, and i hope you have some more.

Is the background just a concept or design or something specific?

Thanks for you comments. I'll make a few changes to what I got and submit a new one soon, not sure it'll knock first out of place but who knows.

(This comment references Entry #27)

to answer your question: The background in the logo doesn't really represent anything, other than trying to look like bolted metal. The red back ground by itself was too uninteresting. so I spruced it up with the metal plate look.

Concept is... the stuff around the lettering is sort of tribal or patterned like, but this stuff is "alive". Kind of a "live and not static" way of life, much like people who excersise at the gym. One reason to work out? Stay active. Much like the black stuff in the logo.

Just an idea. thanks for your consideration

You get 1st for the concept in 28, great look, thanks. What do you think of using the metal plate colors for behind the "24"? I would like you to play with some different fonts, maybe first letter of sports and club a bit larger than the rest, maybe slight slant so it moves with the rest of the logo. Maybe try a gradient black to red on the pattern stuff. Very Cool, Thanks a lot for the fresh idea.

For 2 font ideas I like check out: http://www.gijoemovie.com/ (G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra Logo) and Fast & Furious, http://www.flixray.com/dvd_covers/200907/117957.jpg Just for a look in general, not exact, but I think these are cool. Thanks for the work.

awesome.. thanks for the comments. I'll redesign and submit some new ideas with your changes as soon as I can.

One more concept 4 or 5 more to come. I changed the font and gave it a slant. Gave some interest to the red in the background. Made the "S" and the "C" larger than the rest... and gave some of the circle surrounding the "24" a more metal feel.

Thank you, much better, geting to be a very cool concept. Thanks for the improvement, you just kicked yourself out of the #1 spot with this new one. Great work

here's another concept with a different font. I like it. Also the red has some more interest in the background and the "24" is more part of the metal "bracket" holding the black back. I've got one more change to this I'm working on. Will submit later. Let me know if there's any changes you'd like to see. Thankyou

You keep kicking out 1st place, very good revision, best concept yet. Thanks Carter.

Here's another version. Hope you're not getting tired of them. This time the metal is extended around the "24" with more rivets. also the font I used has more of a "being dragged" feel. I like all of them. Let me know if you can see any needed changes

Thank you, but still like #37 the best. Love the "sports club font in #37, but don't like the "24" font, would like the "4" in 24 to be complete and outlined in black like you did in # 34. You might have to expand the background so that the "24" sits in it if you do it black, might like some variation on the red and metallic circle, maybe a cog or weight, not really sure, just might want to modify it a little bit, but would have to see it. You by far have the best look for a logo so far and would look good on some "graphic tees" Thanks for your ideas and time. I appreciate it, Carter.

Eventually I might do a Letterform Mark; "SC24", in addition to sports club 24, so maybe make the sc and 24 red and do the red background metallic, so that it will flow into the Letterform Mark later and all work together, Thanks great work.

Here's another. Showing a Gear sort of shape. Also note that the "S","C", and "24" are all changed to red. Also inside the Gear is more metal plating. I also change the "4" in "24" to be more complete like you were wanting. I believe that's most of what you wanted. I'll submit a couple more with different shapes, but the same font. Thanks.

Just did this one. Not sure I like the extra gears in the background but the the sphere behind the "24" looks kind of cool. let me know what you think.

thanks

Sorry, I messed up with the red letters, I'm a very visual person so I didn't know until I saw it. So that being said, Working from #63 as a base,
1. Remove small gears.
2. Make "24" black outline, white fill.
3. "S" and "C" go back to black outline, white fill.
4. Keep the gear, metallic, with red fill as shown in #63, but work on making it cooler, or more interesting ,it's too plain and boring like my old logo, check it out at www.sportsclub24.com.
5. Increase the size of the gear and the size of the font size of 24.
6. Use your own artistic ability and judgement, you've done great so far, thank you, Carter

Here's another. both this one and the last one feature a little more detail in the "Gear" and some interest inside the red background. This first of the two shows some of the outer black stuff trapped inside..?? maybe.. not sure just a concept.

This one features the Red ball with a little more glare.

The font and the layout are nailed.
The gear and ball progression are not working for me 100%. Not sure why. Any ideas with the gear/ball concept? We are thinking about using the letterform mark SC24 on some things and the full logo on others. Maybe going back to making the SC and 24 pop with color or some other way?

Logo Designer
ok.. well. here you go. Another concept. This one features some more stuff inside the black and a little bit more interest in the red Circle. One thing I decided to show was clock sort of dots in the circle since it's 24 hr. I also made a slight Red outline around the key letters.

Very cool, much better. Give a little thought to the letterform mark sc24 with sports club 24 in your current font under it, and colors under it.

#98 Very, Very good. If you could just play around with the balance between the SC and the 24, 24 needs to be bigger, maybe leave the SC that size and increase the size of 24 and the gear until it looks right. You'll know when you see it, you are very good at this. In "Sports Club 24", underneath, make the S and C with more color like in # 83. Depending on how it looks you may want to increase the size or amount of "black stuff" around it so it spreads out a little more. AWESOME JOB! Thanks.

I know that entry #100 doesn't look that different than #98 but they are. I worked with the balance as you said. Increased 24 and spaced some things out. I also changed the name at the bottom slightly. I made the S and C slightly larger, so they would show more red and I spaced some of it out. Also entry #99 is far different. I changed the line up of S C and 24 along with some small changes on the title below. Hope you like them. Let me know if there is anything else.

Working with #100 as the new baseline. Don't know how, but we need to work on the staggering of the S and C.
option 1. stagger and lean them similar to # 83
option 2. somehow wrap the bottom of the S trough the C.
option 3. don't know exactly how to fix it, but i hope you do.

I would like to see the black background extent out further, so that it is behind the little 24 and the rest of the lettering, I think this would make it stand out more, but i don't know. I'm a very visual person, so I don't know until I see it. You are doing an awesome job. Thanks

Here's one of 3 for you to look at. The S and C are connected at a corner. Some of the black stuff has swirled around and gotten behind the small Title at the bottom to make it pop out more. I also increased how much black outlines the title. Let me know what you think

I tried to weave the S and C together on this one. I kinda of like it.

#118 is the way to go, just needs refinement, we need to be able to make out the S and C, but stay with the wrap concept, I don't know if the S should wrap over the C or vise versa. You do need to make them bigger so that they don't bleed together, just wrap over or behind. Keep tweaking the black background, it looks cools and makes everything stand out, you know way better than me how to make it perfect. Thank you very much, excellent job.

Ok.. I think this might be it. I spent alot of time changes things and going through options. The S should stay on the top, after all the S starts the name so it should have more importance. The SC 24 were all made bigger. The black stuff surrounding it was tweaked alot believe it or not. Some of the change might be noticeable on the section behind the title part of SPORTS. Also the small title was moved around made closer and slightly larger. Another thing to make note of, there was some black added between S and C to show that they really are seperate. I also lenghtened some of the C so it would be more obviously a C.

anyway hope you like it. let me know if there is anything else

You probally need to use a different font for the sc then, i"ll try to describe what I'm thinking, if you think of the S as 3 Horizontal lines and 2 vertical lines, the 2 vertical lines would have to be longer to increase the distance between the horizontal lines. so that the top of the "c" can cross behind the s without touching either horizontal lines just cutting through the vertical. The black looks good, but I meant to increase the amount of it so that it is background for more of the logo. We are close. No one else is. Thanks, sorry for all the detail changes.

Here's another tweak. I understand what you wanted to do with the S and C. So I worked on making it happen. I think you can see a difference, but it may not be exactly what you wanted. Here's the thing, to get them to tangle like you want you must alter the S and the C quite a bit. I don't think they should be changed too much otherwise they don't like enough like the S and C in the title below, so I think I've created a happy medium. The black stuff was expanded to be even more of a background and the placement of the title was moved down just a bit. Hope this is it, if not closer. let me know

Here's one last arrangement. I like it. But I've always liked the back in the Gear.

#144 I don't think you can stretch just the lower part of the S, looks weird, sorry. I really don't know what will work, or how to make it great, you can try moving the s back and the c forward slightly. Make the verticals on the s even. Try a different font? sorry. Also in "sports club 24" spelled out underneath, the 24 needs to be the same size as the s and c. Getting close, you can always call me if you want to discuss ideas, thanks.

#151 I like the 24 in the red gear, would really like to find a way to wrap the SC and or 24 in some cool manor, just don't know exactly what. #144 is the best concept, just need to figure it out somehow, let me know how i can help.

Two new entries. #161 and #162 hope this is kind of what you were looking for. They both have a nice look. I like #161 for it's different look and it was close to the GIJoe font. #162 looks great.

OK. I think this is it. The bolts are hexagon to look more like Bolts. The 24 in the title is the same size as the S and the C. The S overlaps the C much like the logo you showed me, but no tangling. The Top of the S aligns with the 2 in 24. I extended some more of the black stuff so it looks like it might incompass some of the title. And I used the fonts you asked me to use. I like it. Hope you do. I will be out of communication for 6 or so hours. Again thanks for the direction. I hope to see a message from you later.

thanks

Here you go. This didn't take long. let me know. Did you want the letters to blend into each other, meaning no color seperating them? Or did you like the overlapping looks with lines seperating the shapes? This design shows the two fonts together the way you asked. let me know I guess I'll check back later.

This concept looked really good when it was just a wordmark and spaced out good, It just doesn't work right now, and I don't know what to tell you to fix it. Sorry and thank you. Take a look at that pdf I sent you and just see if anything comes to mind.
