We like the graphic which we think represents individual university and industry experts collaborating together. We also like the more contemporary typeface.

We were referring to entry #21 re above comment. #5 also shows promise. It would be interesting to see it in other colors, perhaps utilizing a brighter green along with the blue.

We're going to eliminate #5 because it is too much like DNA which we feel is over-utilized as a symbol for biotech companies. Also, our research, products and services don't have anything to do with DNA, but rather focuses on respiratory bio-physiology. That said, the circle element around the name, Spirovation is a nice, interesting touch. Please tell us more about your thinking about this element. Thank-you.

#21 basically its about step 1(dark blue), 2(green), 3(blue) to symbolizes development process. Repeated coherently to represent the process concistency(1,2,3,1,2,3). In general, it's all talk about structured process.

I placed colors on each blade randomly inbetween dark blue, green, and blue, with no specific meaning on their order. Instead I use colors general meaning included serious, life | growing, hi-tech | integrity | trust. Any ideas regarding colors placing order would be very welcome. Thanks!

Hi,
We'd like to see the graphic design of #21 paired with the typeface of #72. Can you submit that for us to take a look at? Thank-you.

Thank-you. I think our preference is still for #72, though the others are also quite nice. We are putting them in the "uninteresting" column just as a means of organizing all incoming designs. It doesn't mean that they are uninteresting per se, just that we need a bucket to put the alternative options in. Thanks!

Thank you for your further feedback. Don't worry of putting entries "uninteresting". It actually help designer to understanding your need better and better. All my latest entries is just my brainstorming to keep digging ideas that may work as well.

Congratulations! You're entry #72 is among our top 5 finalists. We'd like to see a couple variations in the typeface, in particular with a more contemporary feel in a grey-black color similar to that used in submission #133. We're not convinced we should change it, but rather we'd just like to see a couple variations. Thank-you.

We really love the graphic element in your design because it conveys not only collaboration, but is very aspirational in nature and forward thinking. To that end, we'd like to see a broader range of typefaces that reflect the same - - more trendy, cutting edge.

In reviewing the recent submissions, we prefer options in which the word mark carries through one of the same colors as in the design element. And since we are looking for a logo that is very trendy and leading edge, we're wondering if you might consider further color exploration of the design element itself. The blues and greens are very nice, but they are very "pharma"-like. Let us know what you think...

Thanks very much!

I agree that current color scheme used are "pharma" like. But, in my opinion blues and greens have a great meaning in your industry. However, it may also great idea combining blues and greens with other colors to make them more trendy and cutting edge. So, I will try some possible combinations that may work on my next submissions. I will be back soon. Thanks!

Thanks for new submissions, however we don't think any of these new color combos are quite right. They may be a little too loud. Try again? Also, are there any other more contemporary typefaces we could consider? We like the slim, clean look of #72 vs. any of the others you submitted. The latter are thicker and therefore look less contemporary to us. Thanks.

Thank-you for your updates which we are still considering.

In an effort to make sure we stand out in a sea of competitor logos, we invite you to take a look at some of our competitors (Lovelace Institute, ChanTest, Lonza, MatTek, Parexel, InaMed) as well as some of our collaborators (Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, American Thoracic Society). If you have further logo ideas based on our desire to have our logo stand out in the crowd, please submit any new design ideas or revisions to existing logos at your earliest convenience.

Again, many thanks for all the great work!
