Some good creativitiy here. I like the font but the logo itself doesn't scream Sports or Idol. So see what you can do about that. Also please read posts in the contest forum.

I am conflicted because I like your logo however I'd like to see some other renditions of it. I'd like to see the logo itself represent sports just a little more and maybe try two or three other color combinations. I like black and silver with a touch of Red or Lightning Green and White or Lightning Yellow and white, Crimson and Gold, Crimson and Silver is always one of my favorites as well. Lastly try the red,white and blue. The one thing I'll say you have is a unique S logo which I like. I think that being able to tell that is stands for multiple sports is important and I'm going to leave it up to your creativity to do so. I like american football but only the laces like the uploaded screenshot I put on the contest page. I like silhouettes that don't look too much like clip art so they have to be a little unique. I honestly like the Roman touch you've made and would like to somehow expand that idea. As you can probably tell I don't have an exact idea but I will know it when I see it. I think you are the closest to getting it so I'll give you until tomorrow at some point to do some renditions. Thank you for your effort and good luck!
