Use "Sports Idol Nation" instead of "Sports is in our DNA" unless you can fit both in the logo somewhere.

Feel free to use your creativity. Just because I've given my idea doesn't mean if you have a great one I won't like it or consider it. I definitely want the DNA Strand but your creativity is what's going to make it stand out!

Contest is far from over, maybe focus on making the S the focal point of the logo and then figure out how to incorporate either SPIN or Sports Idol Nation. Remember this is a site that is for athletes so think in that realm as well. A few of you are coming with different ideas and though I haven't loved the execution I've rewarded you by ranking you for stepping outside the box!

Let's look at using different sport or college fonts to inspire some new ideas

Okay so I'd like to see some college style sports fonts and focus on the S for the helix by itself.

For the last 12 hours for you late comers and ones trying to get into the finals I'd say this: Lets do a Focus on the "S" as a DNA Strand. In that DNA Strand have very subtle objects related to sports like a football, baseball, basketball, hockey stick, gymnast doing something, and other sports related things again very subtle as if just faint outlines inside the DNA strand or S or whatever you can get. If I get at a good enough effort from you, I'll make sure one of the concepts makes the final. You should also look at incorporating this into a badge or just a stand alone logo. Remember it only takes one correct image to win the contest! Good Luck and looking forward to this!
