What We Do
Mission: The Specialty Food Foundation develops and supports tangible and lasting solutions to hunger and food recovery, amplifying the innovation and passion of the specialty food community.
Vision: A community of social entrepreneurs breaking the hunger cycle and enriching life.
Industry
Non-Profit
Color Preferences
-New logo should resemble the other Specialty Food Association logo (see attached)—but ensure that it stands out enough to be distinctly different. This Foundation will be independent from the Association although it will be branded so as to be a recognizable entity of it.
SEE ATTACHED Brand book.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
-Visually could convey: community, breaking hunger cycle, life enrichment, focus on U.S. (rather than global). No hearts.
-The logo needs to fit within Association’s branding and creative guidelines (see pages 20-26) . Colors used in SFA brand are red: PMS 1795; Deep Magenta: PMS 703; Plum: PMS 5123; Orange: PMS 1665; Brick: PMS 1805; Saffron: PMS 128. (see page 29 of attached guidelines). Adding an additional color to this palate to differentiate the Foundation from the Association should be explored.

The Specialty Food association needs to develop a logo to support this Foundation and its programs and activities. This Foundation will be independent from the Association although it will be branded so as to be a recognizable entity of it. Please see attached for branding guidelines.

The Foundation and Association should be very closely connected in logo design but at the same time, the Foundation’s identity should speak to its purpose. For example, perhaps the “plate” image makes sense but the “drizzle” does not – in keeping with the topics of food recovery/hunger. Visually could convey: community, breaking hunger cycle, life enrichment, focus on U.S. (rather than global)

Please download attached PDF for examples for other hunger foundation logos..

Please explore keeping the logo as it is but using a icon to represent the foundation..like the last two rows of logos on the button (Arby's, Conagra, Walmart (fight hunger together) ..

Please try main word as foundation not food. Maybe the word Foundation is in script...
