Entry #8 really caught my eye first. I like it a lot. The colors turned out nice and the over-all look looks very professional and complete...well thought-out. I'd like to play with a few things...the wave in the logo is great, but (because the tips end at different heights on either side) the blue arch above the people is lop-sided (the right side goes lower than the left). Part of me likes this, but I would like to see the logo adjusted so the arch is equal on both sides.

I also would like you to play with the slogan. It is too small and too light.

"Seniors Consulting" could be a little bolder too.

Maybe play around with the fonts a bit to add a little variety to all the wording.

Thanks so much for your help!

hi thathoma... thanks for your comment and your ranking :)
I'll update the logo... one with bolder text for the slogan and "seniors consulting" and other with the arch centered.... I did not centered to give some "dynamic" feeling... but works in both ways
please don't mind to ask me about any other change you wanted to see

I like #13. The color variation with the people is really nice. Changes to make:

1. can we play around with the colors and fading of the arch? I like it a lot but think there might be a bit too much orange. Can you show me a few options?

2. We need to work on the wording proportions. I think SOVEREIGN could be just a tad smaller which would provide some room for the slogan to be bigger. I saw that you bolded it, but the type really needs to be bigger. Keep in mind, older people will be reading my card so I want them to have no trouble reading it.

3. Could you please show me some other options for the arch? I think I like the full arch better, but don't like that it touches the wavy stuff on the left side.

4. Make the line above the slogan bolder and fade it out on both sides. I want to try and balance the top and the bottom a bit more.

Thanks so much! Changing the coloring on the people really added to the appeal!

hi... thanks again for the feedback... I tried to apply all your comments
-the central figure of the icon don't touch the arch
-color of the arch changed... also the bottom swoosh
-color of the fonts changed to make it more clear... very good point about old people to read
-bigger slogan... I didn't need to make Sovereing smaller
-line bellow fading to white on both sides

I hope you like it... but please don't mind to ask about any other change

Lookin good...lookin good...on #18 (all comments are relating to #18)

1. Arch correction looks great! Can I see two different things? First, #18 with the original orange arch and second, #18 with an arch that fades from the dark blue (that you use for the word SOVEREIGN) to the orange.
2. I don't mind at all the blue swoosh change. Think it adds texture. Nice change.
3. The smaller words are definitely more clear, but I don't like too much of the color torquoise. Can we play with that a bit?
4. It looks like you bolded the slogan...I would probably prefer not bolding and finding a stronger color for the slogan.

Thanks!

Should you win, will I get the file in many different ways? For example, one with the entire design and then one with just the words and one with just the picture?

Muchas gracias.

hi... as you requested the different ways to give you the logo here is the explanation:

usually Logotournament just requires that we send to you two files, one EPS and one JPEG (1000x800), but always when the contest is complete and approved I also send other filetypes

EPS: EPS (vector file)
AI : Adobe Illustrator (vector file)
PDF: PDF file (vector file)
PSD: Photoshop layered file (bitmap file, but with at least 4000px)
PNG: PNG file with transparent background (bitmap file, but with at least 4000px, and also a small version to include in email signatures and similar)
JPEG: JPEG picture file (bitmap file, but with at least 4000px)
SVG: SVG file to work with Inkscape, a opensource program that allows you to modify the logo anytime

the best file is the AI because is the one that use the professional and the printing business, all is vectorized and you can change any point of the logo, color, sizes,...

the best file to the typical office applications (Powerpoint, Excel, Word,...) is the PNG one... the background is transparent and are very small files even the big quality, you can include in all your documents without problem

also I send the same file types for the grayscale (if applicable) and the black&white/white&black version of the logo (if applicable), that sometimes is right to use in fax, pens and other similar stuff

as all the logos are vector obviously is possible to separate the text and the icon... LT have severe rules about offer free services, but give to you the icon apart is not any free service, just a complementary format for the logo

please don't mind to ask about doubt you have

comment about the turquoise color:
well... the color is not turquoise at all... is blue (cyan:82% magenta:54%)... but due to the reduction of the image that LT does or because the screen could seem different... but I'll try with other blue
in this web http://kuler.adobe.com/#create/fromacolor
you can choose the colors and see combinations of colors... is very useful

Well, I cannot think of any more changes I would like to this logo...#28. It is my #1 rank right now.

Thank you for all of the file descriptions and stuff. I am not familiar at all with the file types I will need, but do know I will want black and white options, email signatures, stationary printed with perhaps the picture part only and transparent options for the background on powerpoint presentations and such. It sounds like the file types you send will cover all of that.

I will keep you posted. You have been terrific in your response time and I cannot imagine another graphic artist providing me with something better.

Kind Regards,

thathoma
